A/N: Hey y'all! Thank you so much to those of you who took the time to read 'Adrenaline' as well as alert and review it! You guys are amazing and your encouraging comments made me want to do more with the fandom. Y'all really boosted my confidence level about writing MacGyver fics! I know I already said this, but y'all are truly amazing! So thank you, thank you, thank you! I hope you enjoy this next little fic I felt the need to write after watching AFV last night with my dad. And, if you've seen the vid, or are familiar with the show, you MAY recognize the certain video I tried to replicate here...

Of Loud Sneezes and Now Frightened Does

Mac and Jack were both huddled by the window in the living room of the cabin. The window was currently open, allowing the chilly winter air to sneak into the warm cabin. Outside the window, six does were eating around the bird feeder. Their thick, brown coats were slightly coated with snow from grazing out in the current weather. They were a pretty good size and healthy looking for it being the middle of winter.

"What the hell are they even eating? The peach fuzz that hasn't died off yet?" Jack whispered to his partner, his eyes watching the hungry does like a hawk. He looked a little like an impatient kid waiting for something cool to happen.

Mac managed a small grin. Replying just as quietly, "Whatever they can find. You'd be doing the same thing if you were in their shoes."

Jack frowned. "Uh, don't think so, partner. If I was one of them, I would build a spear and get me some rabbit. Or dove. But, I like doves so...it'd probably be the rabbit. Point is that I wouldn't starve."

Mac gave his partner an incredulous look. "They're herbivores, Jack. They don't eat meat. Let alone have the mental capacity to be able to think that way."

The older man feigned shocked confusion. "No! Really? Damn. I had no clue, Mac. Thank you so much for telling me."

"You're welcome." Mac gave him a mock salute.

A few moments of silence passed between the two. The soft, quiet sounds of the does chewing could be heard as they tried to salvage anything they could. Jack sighed. He crossed, then uncrossed his arms. Looking more and more bored by the minute. Mac glared at him until the older man met his gaze.

"Can you stop please?" The blonde asked.

"Ok, ok. Fine. Sorry to interrupt your doe watching gig."

Mac just shook his head. He took his eyes off of the does for a few moments to scan the area around them. The snow was deep. Some of the younger trees just about being consumed by the cold, white powder. The branches held dangling icicles that almost looked fake at first glance. Snow powdering the tops of trees. Turning them into a giant snow cone of sorts...

"ACHOO!"

The does outside immediately snapped their heads up, quickly running away into the forest beyond. Ears pricked high and muscles taught as they ran from the danger. Mac quickly turned his frustrated gaze to Jack, who was rubbing his face.

"Nice, Jack." The younger crossed his arms over his chest, glaring.

"Oh, what? I can't sneeze now?" Jack asked, no real heat in his voice.

"Ya couldn't hold it in long enough to go away from the window?"

"It was an accident." The older coaxed.

Mac just sighed. Suddenly tired as he collapsed on to the couch after wrapping the too large blanket around himself. He heard Jack go into the kitchen a moment later after closing and locking the window. He started to doze off when a couple minutes later, Jack came back into the room carrying two mugs. He gave Mac's shoulder a gentle nudge before holding the mug out to him.

At his partner's frown, Jack grinned, saying, "It's a peace offering."

Mac smirked, taking the offered mug. "Thanks."

"No problem." Jack dropped down beside him, wrapping them both in the soft blanket's warmth. "Now where were we?" The older said, pulling up Die Hard.
