Butterflies

I had just finished training with my team, Kakashi-sensei had us spar and I beat Naruto…again. When we went our separate ways, I walked into the forest towards one of the clearings. This was my favorite place to relax, calming pond, warm sunlight, and there were always insects there. They've always fascinated me, especially the ones that the Aburame clan has. I sat down at the edge of the pond and stared at the water, when suddenly a blue butterfly landed on my lips. After a few seconds, it flew and landed on my nose, causing me to smile.

"That wasn't very nice Mr. Monarch Butterfly, you've just stolen my first kiss," I said sweetly and in response it flapped its wings. "I accept your apology, but we've only just met. Besides, you wouldn't want a caterpillar like me, there's an even prettier Morpho Butterfly across the pond." As if it had heard me, it flew across the pond to be greeted by a beautiful blue butterfly. "You probably think I'm weird don't you? Come on out, I know you're there, I could sense you when you arrived before you hid your chakra," I said not taking my deep blue eyes off of the butterflies.

"I don't think you're weird Hayashi-chan," the visitor replied coming out of the bushes. My face began to heat up, I knew that voice anywhere. It was Shino, the boy I have an extremely large crush on.

"I'm glad, because if Sakura was here she'd say I was crazy," I said chuckling. "So what brings you here?"

"I was analyzing that butterfly before it took off and flew here," he explained, taking a seat next to me.

"He was very handsome, even though he did steal that kiss," I said smiling and he chuckled.

"I can't help but say I'm kinda jealous of him."

"Huh?" I asked looking at him confused.

"He got a kiss from you." My eyes grew wide and my blush grew deeper. "I really like you Michiko-chan." I couldn't believe it, my crush has a crush on me.

"Y-you do?" I asked and he nodded, unzipping the collar of his coat and taking off his sunglasses. My blushing increased when I saw how cute he was, but all thoughts disappeared immediately when he softly kissed me. Coming out of my shock, I began to kiss back, wrapping my arms around his neck and his hands rested on my waist. We pulled apart, where we could see each other's smiles. I rested my head on his shoulder as he held me, when a sudden realization occurred, causing me to giggle.

"What's so funny?" he asked looking at me.

"Nothing, it's just that…how many girl's can say that their first two kisses were given to them by two beautiful butterflies?" I asked looking him in his chocolate brown eyes. He smiled and leaned down to kiss me again and the butterflies in my stomach were released.
