I am Fleur Delacour. The Beauxbatons champion. The beautiful girl from France.
My mother named me because she thought of me, her firstborn, as a sort of noblewoman. But I am proud to be Fleur, because of everything that has happened to me and that I am still strong.
My father was abusive. He started hurting Gabrielle and I when I was eleven. Years later, I asked my mother when she started to be abused by him. She told me it was right after Gabrielle was born. But my parents never divorced – my father was killed in an automobile accident when I was fifteen.
Mother tells me that I am very strong. And that I never was delicate like she was afraid I would be. She encourages me, telling me I am the strong woman she always hoped I would become.
My mother tells me that I am the flower of her heart.
