Wand number 27 by Sarah

"Ah, Miss Tonks, another wand?" Mr Olliviander said with a glint in his eye. "This would be your…?"

"Too many to count Mr O," the pink haired Auror smiled. "What you got for me?"

An eleven-year-old Tonks stumbled after her mother into the wand shop, her mother looking very irate, pulled the girl up and stood her before Mr Olliviander.

"Miss Tonks, back so soon?" the old man smiled warmly.

"I'm afraid Nymphadora slipped and broke her wand this afternoon," Andromeda Tonks sighed.

"And it was new this morning, well I must say you will be good for business."

Mr Olliviander walked to a shelf in the shop and pulled a few wands down. "This is my Nymphadora Tonks shelf, I keep wands here similar to your first one. Try this, ash with the hair of a unicorn."

"Finest unicorn tail in the forbidden forest at your school," Mr Olliviander smiled handing the wand to the 13-year-old Nymphadora. "Similar to your previous 5 wands except entwined with dragon scales."

Tonks held the wand and gave it a swish in the air. Sparks out of the end at an alarming rate and set a pile of papers on the desk alight.

"I really should not leave these things lying around my desk," Mr Olliviander said dismissively as the whole desk turned into water and exploded outwards to drench the man and the 20-year-old.

The woman rushed to help Mr Olliviander put out the flames but he beat her to it.

"I'm so sorry Mr O, I won't let it happen again," she said trying to repair the damage caused.

"You've done worse in this shop Nymphadora, don't you worry."

"Professor Dumbledore, how nice to see you on such a fine school day."

"I had some business to attend to in Diagon Alley and a student was in need of a replacement wand. I thought it best to pop by," Albus said stepping aside to let 12-year-old Nymphadora stumble into the room, a red blush crept over her cheeks.

"Say no more," the shopkeeper said reaching for a wand and giving it to the girl.

Tonks swished the wand like she had so many times before, out of the wand came the familiar sparks raining down like miniature stars until they hit the ground and expanded to form one giant star on the ground burning a hole in the floor. The three people jumped onto the desk to escape the flames, it took ten minutes for Dumbledore to extinguish the star.

"Maybe a different wand," Mr Olliviander said taking the wand carefully away from Tonks' grasp.

She quickly paid her seven sickles, grabbed the wand and exited the shop. The shop owner called after her, "Until next time."
