Richard Castle gazed at the beautiful woman lying in bed next to him. Kate Beckett, his wife.

Months later and he still could not believe how lucky, how blessed he was to be with the woman he loves. After everything they had been through together, all the years of pretending, moments of struggling, of fighting what could be, they had given into the inevitable.

"What's going on in that head of yours" Kate whispered as she grazed her soft hand through his hair.

"Nothing" Castle whispered back, turning his head to place a gentle kiss to her palm.

Kate wrinkled her brow in that way that Castle seemed to find cute.

"No, not nothing. Castle, I've known you long enough to know when nothing is really something. So, spill" She raised her eye brows and stared into his dark blue orbs, waiting for his answer.

"I want to have little Castle babies" Castle said in a voice so soft that Kate almost didn't hear him.

Her eyes widened, emerald green staring at midnight ocean blue, and finally gave a small smile.

"Seriously?" Kate managed after a few seconds.

"I just- I know we said to wait until we were married for at least six months but-" He looked down and saw their twined hands, his fingers subconsciously playing with her wedding band.

"I haven't been able to stop picturing this little blue-eyed boy and this little girl with brown curls and bright green eyes running around the loft, giggling, playing..."

His voice broke off and he looked up to meet her eyes. They were staring at him with a mixture of adoration and longing.

"I want that Kate, and I don't think I can wait any longer to have that. With you"

Kate blinked the tears that threaten to escape and gave her husband a wide smile. She leaned in and gave him a titillating yet gentle kiss on the lips.

"I want to have little Castle babies too" She finally whispered after they broke apart.

"Yeah?" It was Castle's turn to grin and he moved back a little to see her giving him that smile that always made his insides melt.

Kate responded by giving him another kiss in which Castle took as a sign to deepen. Soon, he had her trapped under him, kissing her with an affection that made her weak at the knees.

Kate pulled apart and stared at the man above her.

"We are not naming our son Richard Jr."

Castle threw his head back and gave a loud throaty laugh. Kate grabbed the back of his neck and pulled him down to give him another lingering kiss.

"Come on writer boy, make love to me" She whispered, giving him a warm smile.

Rick looked down at her, his Kate, and stoked her cheek. He brought his mouth down to her ear and with softly spoken words told her "Always, Kate. Always"
