Impulse poem.

Please review. Sorry it's short.

Sunshine and Storms.

Gold and sparkling,

But metallic and hard,

Mahogany, russet oaks,

Clashing with lemons and yellow flowers,

Bright weather and sundrops,

Stormy lightning and raindrops,

One running for freedom and love,

One running for the hunt, the chase;

Colours swirling together,

Like black and white,

Ying and Yang,

Love and Hate.

"I want to be your friend."

"I want to kill you."

It's just a lie,

It's nothing but the truth.

"You are my sunshine."

"You are my storm."

Lying together forever,

In the peace of stalemate spring.

In this poem:

Bart likes Thad and regrets not being able to be friends. He tries to convince Thad. Thad doesn't want to know, but secretly longs to be loved and despises the lies he's been told. Meloni Thawne would have loved them both e.g. "sunshine" for Bart and "storm" for Thad (used in my story).

The ending is what could have (and maybe should have) been. Hope you enjoyed it.
