I looked at her.

Her blue-grey eyes sparkled with happiness as she smiled broadly, her hands linked with him, not me. Her short, blonde hair swayed as she shook it to the side. He looked at her mischievously, Tris squealing as she was swept off her feet.

"URIAH PEDRAD, PUT ME DOWN NOW!" Tris hit Uriah's back multiple times but he didn't budge.

"Sorry, Trissy. I can't let you walk around barefoot." He flashed her a grin, Tris groaning as she pounded on his back with less force.

"Don't call me that! And I'm capable of walking around barefoot!"

"Who says?"

"I say!"

"But I don't," Uriah caught Tris' lips with his, Tris melting into his love. I clenched my fists, seeing red everywhere. But I couldn't beat him up. I don't have a right. I left her. I fell for someone else, even though I didn't love her as much as I thought. Tris and I broke up in the most depressing way possible and guess who took care of her? Uriah! Hooray, let's celebrate!

"Tris, I shall forbid you to walk around with no shoes on your feet," Uriah smirked as he took of his shoes and placed them in Tris' tiny, small feet that were bare. I never did that. Jealousy and anger flashed through me, though, whenever Tris smiles, I calm down.

"Quite the gentleman, yeah?" She teased as Uriah put her down. He took her by the waist as they descend down the narrow corridor, laughing and talking, stealing kisses here and there.

She's happy. I'm supposed to be. I have a girlfriend! But I'm not happy. Lynn's alright and she's pretty but I'm not sure I want to date her. I wish I had amnesia so I could forget about these stupid little things. I remember the day we broke up:

I slammed the door shut, picture frames wobbling with the force. I can't believe Lynn and I kissed! I have a girlfriend!

"Tobias," Tris stood, her blue-grey eyes intimidating, yet they were hurt. Tris didn't show an emotion, just a blank stare.

"What is it, babe?" I asked, trying to shrug off my fear of Tris finding out that I kissed Lynn.

"Don't 'babe' me, I know what you did!" She cried, crossing her arms, tears threatening to spill.

"What did I do?"

"Don't act innocent,"

"I'm not acting innocent, I don't know what you're on about!"

"BULLSHIT!" She roared, making me flinch, but that didn't seem to bother her. Tears were free falling from her face, her voice trembling as she spoke.

"I saw you and Lynn kissing!"

I stared at her, defeated. She found out. She knew.

"Lynn texted me and said, 'Hey, Tris! Guess what? Four's my boyfriend! He said he broke up with his girlfriend to be with me! Poor girl.' And I said, 'Oh, really?' Care to explain?" She looked at me, her eyes begging me that this was some sick joke. I had no answer. Lynn had no idea who I was dating. Everything Lynn said to Tris was true.

"Leave," Tris choked on the word, pointing to the door behind me. I looked at her in shock. "LEAVE!" She yelled, falling to the floor as she sobbed. I ran out of the house. I ran from her life. I ran to Lynn.

Now Tris is happy. I regret breaking her heart. I desereved to get a beating from Caleb. I deserved to get punched by Uriah. I deserved to get slapped by Christina. I deserve to get ignored by Tris. But she didn't deserve to get her heart broken. Especially by me.

I wish I had amnesia. I wish this was just a sick dream. I wish I could forget. I am not alright.

I wish.
