Tamaki was overprotective.
That was something he knew for sure. But, then again, wasn't every man supposed to be overprotective when his daughter was involved. Tamaki's daughter was particularly special to him, he would go as far as to call her 'precious'. He loved everything about her, from her cute face, to her adorable laugh, and the way she acted, even when she was mad at him. He loved it all. And he knew, for those very same reasons, that other men would love her too.
Leaving her alone with the unscrupulous twins was the last thing he wanted to do, but when he was called unexpectedly to deal with something (and despite his begging, she wasn't allowed to come along), that's exactly what Tamaki was forced to do.
"Where is she?" Tamaki asked as he returned, rushing back at break-neck speed as soon as he was dismissed.
The twins looked up from their place on the couch, both reading from the same magazine.
"She who?" they asked in unison, faces wearing perplexed expressions.
"My daughter that's who!" the blond snapped. "What did you two do with her?!"
"Oooooooh."
Hikaru was the one to answer. "She went outside, out where those boys-" Tamaki was out the room in record time. "-were playing." The Hitachiins exchanged a michevious and a high-five before returning to their reading material.

To the people in the hallways at the time, what rushed past them could only be described as 'The Flash in a suit'. Tamaki rushed down the many flights of stairs and out the back door.
He quickly found the girl he was looking for. She was wearing a hat he had given her for her birthday, but wearing it in such a way that it completely covering her hair. To his horror, his precious daughter was currently engaged in a conversation with three guys.
Daddy wasn't going to stand for this.
The girl hadn't noticed the presence of the blond Suou behind her, but the boys sure did. They trembled under the dangerous leer he was giving them, which rivaled even the Evil Lord's death glare when he was awaken.
She finally noticed Tamaki when the boys ran off. "Hey, why'd you do that?"
Tamaki's response was given in the form of a bear hug.
"Are you okay?!" he asked, rocking them both back and forth. "Daddy's sorry he had to leave you!"
"Can't...breathe..." He let her go and the 15-year-old stumbled back, trying to catch her breath.
"Sorry. But why were you down here? I told you to stay with the twins."
"They told me you were going to meet me down here."
Tamaki could almost hear the trouble making siblings laughing their heads off.
"Well, they lied. Who knows what those boys would've done to you if Daddy hadn't come to the rescue."
She blinked her brown eyes and his mind nearly screamed 'Kawaii!'. "Those were my classmates."
Now Tamaki felt stupid. "Well, I'm just glad Daddy's little girl is okay."
She rolled her eyes. "You're so weird sometimes." She pulled of her hat, letting her hair fall down to her shoulders.
Her blond hair. The exact same shade as Tamaki's. "No wonder Kaa-san says you're crazy."
Tamaki sighed. "Yes well, Kaa-san also doesn't need to know about this, okay?"
"Whatever you say, Tou-san, whatever you say. Can we go home now?" she asked and smiled a bit when he nodded in response. Tamaki smiled and watched his daughter, his real daughter, walk on slightly ahead of him. Haruhi, the one who originally held that title, was now his wife and the mother of this teenager before him. Parenthood was still kinda hard for him, even after 15 years, but he loved every second of it. No matter what, he would always be this girl's father.
And father's were overprotective.

Drabble. Random, I know, but I had to get it out of my head. (plus I've wanted to write an Ouran fic for a long time now.)
