The sea
Cradle of all life
You do not discriminate
Maximal or Predacon
It makes no difference to you
You welcome all with open arms
There was once a time when I would answer the call of your song
Lose myself within your cool embrace
But that was so long ago
I am consumed by my need for revenge
As long as he lives I can never rest
I can never find peace
I need to ignore your voice
Block the pulse of your heart that runs in my veins
And when he's finally gone
I will go home to you
Depthcharge gave a heavy sigh as he looked out at the sea. The dark water stretched out to the horizon, occasionally broken by the white crest of a wave. The large Maximal turned off his optics and let the sound of the breakers crashing onto the rocks below surround this mind. He could hear her voice calling out to him, begging him to come back to her. The haunting tune wrapped around him and he found himself stepping closer to the edge of the cliff. How easy would it be to just fall into the water below and to be lost in the churning waves? How easy could he shed himself and just live peacefully in the ocean? It would be to easy he realized. He couldn't let it end here, not until he finished his task. He had to avenge those lost. Then and only then would he be able to go back home. Stepping away he looked at the sea once more before leaving. In the back of his mind he heard her call out to him again. Asking for him to stay, to become one with her. With his entire spark he wanted to but Dephcharge willed himself to continue walking, pushing back the Siren's song.
