Disclaimer: I wish!

"Mom, I promise I am fine. I have enough drink, my pillows are comfortable, my magazines and the TV changer are in reach. Sit down please." Lindsay said.

"Are you sure you don't need anything, something to eat?"

"Yes, just sit down and relax."

"Lynn listen to you daughter." Tom said. She sat down and was okay for a minute, then she started fidgeting again.

"Do your pillows need to be fluffed?"

"No. I'm fine, I am not broken. I can take care of myself."

"You were shot!"

"In my leg, it wasn't that bad."

"Lindsay Monroe, it was bad."

"Okay, I am fine now so just sit down, watch some TV, and relax." Lindsay spent the next two hours having this same argument with her mother. It was getting closer to 6:00 and Danny would be getting off and saving her from her parents. Her cell phone rang and she answered it before her mom could. "Save me."

"It can not be that bad." Danny said.

"You have no idea; I have spent the last two hours having the same argument."

"I have bad news."

"No, you have to get off work."

"I just called in for a double, I wish I was with you."

"I can't believe you are doing this to me."

"If you can handle them tonight I promise to make it up to you tomorrow."

"I am holding you to that."

"Okay. I love you."

"I love you too."

Lindsay opened her eyes slowly and saw that it was only 7:30. She groaned because she couldn't sleep well without Danny and she could already hear her parents talking in the living room. She grabbed a pillow and covered her face; she didn't want to deal with them until Danny got here. She heard a man's voice that wasn't her dads, who was in her living room? It sounded like Danny, but he should still be asleep since he got home late from his shift. Her bedroom door opened and she moved the pillow.

"Shouldn't you still be asleep?"

"I got enough sleep, plus I had a promise to keep."

"What could possibly be more important than sleeping?"

"Making you happy, I figured to get your parents out of here today I would have to start early."

"There is no way that you have already convinced them."

"They are in your spare room packing right now."

"You're amazing." Lindsay said kissing him.

"I know." Danny laid down next to her and they fell asleep.

When Danny and Lindsay woke up they took her parents to the air port.

"Thanks for getting them to go home. I was happy that they were here but it will be nice to go back to normal."

"Your welcome and I agree I miss my sleeping buddy." Lindsay smiled and they went to the car.

"Can we stop somewhere before we go home?"

"Sure, where?"

"I want to go to the lab?"

"Why?"

"I miss being there, and seeing everyone. Plus you kind of suck at keeping me up to date on lab gossip."

"I guess, but we aren't staying for long."

"Okay." They went to the lab and had dinner with Stella and Flack before going back to Lindsay's apartment.

"I had fun today."

"Good." Danny said sitting down on the couch next to Lindsay and turned on a game. Lindsay began fidgeting, "You uncomfortable Montana?"

"A little."

"Here." He grabbed a pillow and sat it on his lap and helped her lay down with her leg on the couch, "Better?"

"Yes." Danny began to run his hand through her hair. "Thank you."

"For what?"

"For taking care of me, getting my parents to go home without a fight. I still want to know how you managed that."

"It's a secret, and you don't need to thank me. I love making you happy." They both started watching the game that was on tv.

A/N: I am not very happy with this story, it seems sloppy to me. Hopefully it is better than I think. Enjoy!
