Hello all! I decided to stop being lazy and make a fanfic for y'all.
The first thing I remember is a crushing force crunching down on my stomach, like I was just drop-kicked by a Hippo. Now, this is no exaggeration. I could literally feel the hot blood rushing into my lungs, the floodgates of my ribcage utterly destroyed, and, in what seemed like an eternity later, a voice chuckled in one of the darker corners of this Victorian-style room I now found myself in. A shadow that made all other shadows look like the glaring sun parted from that corner, revealing a tall man, in quite a strange outfit, like he had just stepped straight out of a Dracula film. Red coat, giant floppy hat, matching red, even a charcoal black suit and tie to finish the ensemble. "Hello, how are you today?" I frowned, surely this man must be deranged, as I glanced at my watch, that read 3:15 AM. "Are you mad?" I asked him incredulously, which I now realize was pointless, for reasons you shall see. His smile widened much further than humanely possible, showing his indefinite number of razor sharp teeth. "Why, of course my dear, what fun would it be if I were sane?" He mused. I shook my head. Either I was seeing things, or this man was trying tolook like a Vampire. "Name's Seraphina, I didn't catch yours." He grinned his unsettling, mirthless smile once more. "Alucard. Pleased to make your acquaintance, Seraphina." His smooth deep voice echoed about the room, paralyzing me in a state of fear, although for the life of me, I could not tell you why.
He turned to leave the room, his blood red eyes barely seeing over the rounded, sunset colored sunglasses he wore over his eyes. "It would be in your best interest to accompany me." He said, very matter-of-factually. He stepped outside and shut the door, as if to give me privacy. "At least suspect vampires have manners..." I thought to myself, half laughing at the fact that that was the thing I was most concerned about. I opened the nearby drawer to find an ink black dress made of a coarse cotton, and a white shift, something softer, thankfully. As I pulled the shift and dress over my head. Under that there were white silk gloves, which I dutifully pulled on, along with everything else. "Damn, are they trying to make me look like a Nun?" I wondered, with only a hint of sarcasm. As I stood in front of the broad pine door, I somehow knew I had a long journey ahead of me if I opened the door. I turned the knob without a second thought.
