Hi everybody! This is my first Fanfiction. When I thought of a FF to write, I never thought I would write a JackRabbit history! Well, with some changes.

This story is going to have a girl!Jack. She will be like Jack, loner, trickster, mischievous, not caring about rules, maybe a little, but she will be a mix between human!Jack and Spirit!Jack, 'cause I have an idea how it will be worked out. I can say that she's going to have a little brother and he is like Jamie in looks, but nothing more.

Aster is going to be an Australian exchange student and has lived in Burgess for over 2 years now with his Aunt and Uncle.

I'm going to put Jamie and Sophie in this story too, but it is Jackie and Aster the focus is on.

Disclaimer; I do not own Rotg!

Jackie;

Jaqueline Overland Frost, Jackie Frost for short, had always loved the snow. There was something about the coldness, the lack of colour, the sight it made as it fell from the sky, that made her feel at peace. The way it made her fill up with happiness was nearly overwhelming as snow signified that winter was on its way. When the days got darker and the nights longer, the air colder and the sky clearer than ever. It had always been like that for her, ever since she could remember. It was the earliest memory she could recall from her childhood, and the latest memory she wanted to remember from her life before Nix.

Jackie sighed as her feet touched the thin layer of snow that had started to cover the porch just outside the kitchen. She inhaled the cold air deeply through her nose and smiled as the smell of winter hit her. The first snowfall had always held a special scent for her, and it was something she would always hold onto. She inhaled deeply one more time and was about to take another step on the cold porch when a deep voice rang out from the open door into the kitchen.

"Jackie, I know that you think you are immune to the cold, but you are going to catch a cold."

Jackie turned around and met the sight of her uncle in the doorway, holding two mugs in his hands, smiling warmly at her. She let out a small giggle and threw one last look at the falling snow before she went over to her uncle. He handed her on of the mugs and returned to the kitchen table on the other side of the room. Jackie closed the door after her and sat down on the chair beside him. She started to slowly drink the hot chocolate. She glanced over to the thermometer by the window and grumbled lightly as she saw that the temperature. It was cold now, but since it was only early in the morning, it would most likely get hotter in a few hours. Her uncle must have heard her grumble, as she could hear him stifle a laugh, and out the newspaper down on the table.

"Relax Jackie, the town will be filled with snow in no time," he smiled as he rose from his chair and ruffled her already tangled hair. Jackie giggled before noticing that he was already dressed up and more or less ready to go.

"Are you working early today Uncle Moon?" she asked him as she also rose from the chair and made her way over to the other doorway in the room.

"Yes, I have a meeting. I also have to work late, so you have to be home right after school today. I have bought in some ingredients so you can make dinner for you and Mikael, just remember to leave some for me too."

Jackie nodded and was about to exit the kitchen when her uncle called her name.

"And Jackie, can you wake up your brother, too? I kind of forgot to do it when I woke up myself," Uncle Moon admitted as he let out a small embarrassed chuckle.

Jackie stuck out her tongue and let out a small complain about how lazy he was before she exited the kitchen so she could climb the stair to the second floor. She wandered over to the nearest door on the second floor. It was painted in a snow-white colour and had her name written on in light blue paint.

Jackie entered her bigger than average room and headed over to her closet to change. The walls in the room were painted in the same light blue colour that her name was written in, but she had added snowflakes to them. She stripped out from her blue pyjamas and pulled out a white top, blue jeans and her favourite oversized and blue hoodie. She looked at it for a moment and smiled softly. The hoodie had belonged to her older brother, but he had given it to her even though it was way too big for her much smaller body.

After changing clothes, she walked to the bathroom which was connected to her room. As Jackie dug out her hairbrush from one of the drawers, she glanced at herself in the mirror. A pale girl with long brown hair and ice-blue eyes reflected her gaze. She finally found her brush and started to comb her very messy hair, but continued to study herself in the mirror. She had always been quite thin for her age, and she had to admit that the big hoodie didn't help her look bigger either. Nevertheless, she wasn't too caring about it at the moment and shrugged as she finished brushing her hair. After brushing her teeth, she left her room and started her tour over to her little brother's room, a couple of doors down the hallway.

Jackie knocked lightly on the door before opening it. The room was dark and a little cold, but she could still make out the sleeping form of Mikael. She trotted over to his bed and watched him as he shifted slightly in his bed, still sleeping. She let out a small giggle and sat down.

"Snowflake! Time to wake up!" she whispered with a smile and nudged him lightly. In response, he gave out a snore and rolled over to the side. Jackie stared blankly at him and gave him a light, but harder nudge, but Mikael seem to make a notice of it. She nudged him again a little harder and when he only snored loudly, Jackie let out an irritated huff. Standing up from the bed, she took a hold of the duvet and pulled hard. The cold air hit Mikael's warm body as a bucket of water and he quickly sat up in his bed… and fell out of it to second later.

"Ouch!" Jackie heard him cry out from the other side of the bed. He peeked up as he rubbed his head. Jackie only grinned mischievously down at him with her arms crossed over her chest, his duvet left on the floor beside her.

"Why would you do that?" he exclaimed irritated as he pulled himself up from the floor.

"You wouldn't wake up, so a drastic action had to take place," Jackie answered with an evil look in her eyes. "Mikaela!"

"Don't call me that! I'm Mikael, Jacqulo," he growled, but his eyes had also an evil look in them.

"And I said that you ought to call me Jackie!" and she lunged after him. Mikael tried to get away, but she was too fast for him and she began tickling him. Mikael started to giggle and twisted around, trying to get way from his older sister. Jackie grinned, but stopped tickling her brother some moments later and watched as he tried to catch his breath. She gave him another nudge with her foot before she went his dresser.

"Hurry up, you have 5 minutes to get dressed and get down to the kitchen," Jackie told him and as she pulled out some clothes for him to wear.

He groaned but slowly started to get dressed. Jackie left the room, but remember to tell her brother to open the curtains and close the window before he went down for breakfast. As she was about to enter the kitchen, she caught the sight of her uncle as he was about to leave the house. He was putting on his shoes but must have felt her gaze, because I looked up as he tied the laces.

"I have left some money on the counter if you need it," he told. Jackie nodded and thanked him with. Her uncle smiled and kissed her forehead before he exited the house with a goodbye. Jackie watched him walk to the garage and drive off to work before she again entered the kitchen. Uncle Moon had left some bread and different kinds preserve, cheese and a mug of hot chocolate on the kitchen table. She started to make Mikael's breakfast and finished just as Mikael came through the doorway, rubbing his eyes tiredly.

"Eat fast, and remember to brush your teeth afterwards," Jackie told him as she started to make his lunchbox. Only minutes later, Mikael was done with his breakfast and made his way to the second floor again so he could brush his teeth. After cleaning the kitchen table, Jackie grabbed the money from the counter, Mikael's lunchbox and an apple from the fruit bowl.

Mikael met her sometime later in the hallway as Jackie put on her blue converse. He had already put on his shoes and jacket and quickly grabbed his backpack and but his lunchbox in it. After putting on a jacket herself, Jackie grabbed her light blue skateboard and opened the front door and she and her brother made their way down to the bus stop just at the end of the street. They waited for the bus for about two minutes with some of the other kids from their neighbourhood. When she saw the bus she crouched down so she was just a little taller than Mikael.

"Uncle Moon is working late tonight, so you can't go on a visit today. You'll come home just as normal and I will make us both some dinner, okay?" she told Mikael.

"Okay, Jackie. Love you," he said and hugged her.

"Love you too little brother," she replied and hugged him back just as the bus pulled to the side. Mikael stepped away from her and entered the bus. Jackie waved after him as the bus continued its way to the elementary school, a ten minutes' drive from their home. Placing the skateboard on the ground in front of her, she started her own trip to Nix High School. Just a 15-minute trip with her skateboard. She also had the opportunity to take a bus to the school, but Jackie had always liked to be outside. She would rather walk or skate to the school so she could enjoy some fresh air before she was locked inside the next seven hours or so.

The snowfall from the morning had already stopped and the snow was slowly melting on the ground, making her trip to the school wet and messy. Nevertheless, Jackie didn't complain too much about it, as the wetness would disappear during the first couple of hours of the very long school day.

Jackie sighed inwardly and she could feel her mood drop a little as she got closer to the school. She rolled towards the front doors of the school and stopped her skateboard a few meters from them. Placing her foot on the nose of her skateboard, she pressed down, grabbed the other side as it went up and placed it under her arm. She entered the school and threw a glance at the big hallway. At the same time as she ran a hand through her hair, her mood fell drastically as her eyes met a pair of dark emerald green eyes.

Standing beside the stairs, tall and probably arrogant and sour as always, with dark hair and sun-kissed skin, was the person Jackie despised most in Nix; E. Aster Bunnymund, the short-tempered Australian who she had been on the bad side of since the day she met him.

What do you think? You have to know that English isn't my mother tongue. (And most of this was written when I was in 9thgrade, and my English back then was horrible! Writing skills too..)
