Summary: Wherein the Cahill siblings try being ordinary people, try to fit in, try to pretend the Hunt was just a silly nightmare.

Dedication: This goes to Amy (AnotherArtist) who beta'd this fic for me way back. I wish I published this before she left, but what's past is past and I can't change her mind. Amy, thank you so much for checking on this. And for the record, I do really miss you. :(

Disclaimer: The 39 Clues was never mine.

"Hey Amy"

"Yes?"

"Look at this."

She looked out the window. "What?"

"Oh don't be so grumpy. Relax and close your book for once." He grinned as he said this. She, in return, smiled.

"Look at that. It looks like a ship!"

"Yeah, and that looks like a hat!"

"Pssh...that's nothing!" Dan moved closer to the window and strained his eyes to look at the sky.

"Oh really?" His sister copied his movements. Realizing she might have squished her little brother, she moved away again, and craned her neck instead to look out.

He nodded, and slowly came to a stop as he became silent. He furrowed his eyebrows into a questioning way. For a second or two he'd look out the window squinting, looking for something better. She, in the meantime, went back to reading, as the rough movements of the bus made no effect to her.

"Hmm...I think I have it," he said after a long while of silence. He poked his sister on the shoulder several times to get again her attention. "What? Finally found one"

He eagerly nodded. She shut her book once more."Let's see this and get it over with..." she sighed.

He pointed to a large clump of clouds. "See that?" She nodded.

"Know what I think it is?"

"I'm not psychic, Dan." She said impatiently. He looked cross for a moment but continued anyway.

"I think it looks like a cloud!" He cackled loudly like a madman.

Amy rolled her eyes and whacked him with her copy of The Hunger Games.

"Ow!" Dan complained. He stuck his tongue out childishly at her.

It was her turn to laugh. "Immature!"

The bus driver called their attention. "Miss? Your stop is here."
