Story: Just a bit of random fluff I decided to try. But if anyone has any Merlin/Arthur challenges for me, please send me them via a review! I'd really like to try writing some. Thank you xx

Early morning in Camelot, the sky was a fresh blue, the air crisp and breezy and even though it was only seven in the morning, Merlin had a smile on his face as he made his way out of the castle and down to where Arthur was training on a patch of grass just outside. Round the back of the castle. He was approaching where Arthur would be now, and forced himself to limit his smile so that it looked more normal, though it widened a little of its own accord when Arthur made eye contact, and smiled back at him.

He was practicing with his sword, ever the dedicated warrior, but he stopped as Merlin walked over with a drink of water for him.

"You don't have to stop on my account," Merlin said awkwardly as Arthur stuck his sword into the ground and walked over.

"No, I was going to take a break anyway," Arthur replied, thanking Merlin as he handed him the water.

"I don't think I've ever seen you take a break," Merlin observed, a teasing smile breaking out on his face at the expression on Arthur's face.

"No one is perfect Merlin," he told him, then his expression altered as he realised Merlin had actually been teasing him. "I'm gonna get you for that," he said, and Merlin yelped and broke into a run as Arthur began to chase him around the grass, until eventually he managed to pin him up against a white stone wall of the castle.

"Do you yield?"

Still recovering his breath, Merlin gazed into those blue eyes. "I yield, Prince Arthur."

Arthur blushed, for some reason, Merlin calling him that had taken him completely off guard and he didn't know what to say. He sighed, wishing his heart would stop hammering so badly in his chest. "Close your eyes."

Merlin's eyes fluttered closed, then he opened them again, unable to help himself. "Why?"

"Just do it, Merlin."

Merlin obeyed, and for a few seconds, Arthur just stared at his dark haired servant, thinking how perfect he looked. Then he leaned forward, and began to kiss him slowly, caressing Merlin's soft lips with his own. Electricity tingled all the way up and down Merlin's spine as he realised what Arthur was doing, and his hand gripped Arthur's arm. In return, Arthur moved a little closer so their bodies were completely pressed against each other, and he put an arm around Merlin's waist.

Merlin realised at that point that he needed air, and broke off without thinking. "I wasn't finished," Arthur complained softly, his arm still around Merlin.
