It was like a bad "silence in the theaters" commercial. You know, the ones where the main character is in tense situation before a cellphone goes off and breaks the atmosphere. Line for line, beat for beat, it was almost exactly the same. The only difference: this was reality.

Cursing, Takaba glances down at the coat pocket that holds his cellphone before meeting the eyes of the bodyguard that was just made aware of Takaba's illegal presence by the perky cellphone tune. If it wasn't for the imminent danger, Takaba would probably have turned beat red from this embarrassing over sight.

"Eh, he he… oops?" A sheepish shrug is the only warning the goon is given before Takaba leaps towards the fire escape and races towards the ground.

When Takaba finally escapes the overgrown baboon masquerading in a suit, he flips open his phone to listen to the voice mail that had nearly earned him another kidnapping and the corresponding 'Asami approved punishment.'

"Hello sweetheart, it's mom. I've decided to arrange an omiai for you since your work keeps you too busy to date. Give me a call back so we can iron out the details. Love you sweetheart and hope you catch those bad guys you're always talking about. Bye, bye."

Oh yes, this certainly promised to be a difficult night.

Author's Note:

This was just a quick drabble that wouldn't get out of my head until I wrote it. I might add a few more drabbles to this one. Not sure.

Anyways, I hope you liked it. This was my first attempt at writing viewfinder so please let me know what you thought of it.

Thanks for reading!
