Words: Wild, Clean, Crest, Snack
Author's Notes: Once again, I've slacked on my E/O drabbling. When I saw the missed words, an idea immediately popped into my head, and I had to write it. I blew the 100 word limit out of the water, but it had to be done. It's not too long. The Wee!Chester part has Sammy at 5, and Dean at 9.
"Dean! Look!"
Dean looked up from his math book as Sam ran wildly from the bedroom. He was holding his toothbrush and a tube of toothpaste.
"What is it, Sammy?"
"I'm Crest-fully clean!" Sam gave his brother the biggest, toothy grin he could manage.
Dean laughed and shut his math book.
"That's great, Sammy. How about a snack before bed?"
"Can I have Oreos?" the five-year-old said hopefully.
"How about Teddy Grahams?"
"Cool! And Milk too?"
"Sure."
Dean stared at the tube of toothpaste in his hand as the memory played through his head. How could things have gotten so fucked up that his brother was in hell and he-
"Dean."
He looked up in the mirror to see Lisa standing in the bathroom doorway. She moved into the bathroom with him and wrapped her arms around his waist in a comforting hug. Dean turned in her arms and kissed her softly, and returned her loving embrace.
"You're thinking of him again, aren't you."
Dean nodded.
"He wouldn't like this, you know."
"He made me promise to live normal... but I can't stop thinking-"
She kissed him, if only to stop him from repeating what he'd said every night since he arrived. She'd been trying for months to help him, but Dean was broken. All she could do was mend him now and again.
"Come on to bed, babe."
"Give me a minute."
She kissed him.
"Of course."
Lisa left him alone, and he turned back to the sink. He put away the tube of Crest toothpaste, put his toothbrush back into the holder, and scrubbed a hand across his face. He turned and went back into the bedroom.
