Disclaimer: I own neither Peter Pan nor Once Upon A Time. Did you ever really think so?

She has been here a long time. That she is aware of. How long doesn't really matter in Neverland, because nothing ever really matters in Neverland. Not even life or death. And she knows plenty of death. Knows how the prey shrieks in the terror of her claws, her teeth, her jaws, before surrendering to silence and never more. The blood splatters red on the ground, her paws, her fur, eerily matching the orange-black-white pattern. She hates it. This life, this form, this place. She wants hands, human fingers, speech, the wind through her hair and not her fur. She wants freedom. She never wanted this, this… animal that she has become. She always liked animals, they were her friends, they were free… But this is entrapment, a curse ripping her body apart to start anew, then only to be dumped in a convenient place - convenient meaning where you can never escape from, no matter how much you claw and roar and chase and hunt and try and become desperate.

But the desperate days are over and left is only time spent surviving. But really, what is the point in even that? Except that would mean that she had lost. Lost to that boy-king, cruel ruler of the vile children who mock and laugh and throw sticks, stones and arrows at her. And she roars, she strikes and she tastes blood. Oh, how many a boy she has given a fright, a scar, a nightmare… but never death. She cannot bring herself to it. Even if death here would be a kindness but… they are only children. Children who cry at night for home and oh how she wants to cry with them - except tears are useless here and tigers never cry.

Author's Note: Just a small idea I got. I really want to see how they would tackle the Tiger Lily character. (And I really want to ship her with Felix! Is that so bad? Along with Tink/Hook and Darling Pan! (AU Pan. AU. Seriously.)) To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if they made Tiger Lily the sister of Pocahontas... Or Pocahontas herself. O.O Oh no. They would. Nevermind that she was a historical person! (Would that make Felix into John Smith?) This is too late at night and my brain isn't funktioning properly. Please tell me if you would like to see more of this! Shameless begging. (Yes. Blame it on my sleepless brain.) Now go hit that review button!
