So, here I am once again…I must unfortunately admit that I have not visited
at all in the meantime…guess I ought to be glad I remembered to feed you
this at all…somewhat surprised something similar have not been posted
before…at least I had not seen anything of it's kind(with focus on these
particular two) by the time I posted last…
Oh, and I got one other, with a tad more group interaction…should I hold that back for the BG1 story itself, or post it here as something that "passes in silence"?
Minsc & witch
-"Boo thinks we have been lucky to find such fitting companions." The large ranger smiled to the female object of his protection;
-"I will be very surprised if there will be great deeds left for me to do when we split ways with them…which Minsc hopes will never happen…but we will have to some day, won't we?"
Looking over at his witch at the other side of the fire they guarded as the rest of the group did what their sort did in the eveningtime before rest, the berserker petted his hamster absentmindedly.
-"I do believe you will find that this world will always have deeds waiting for the capable hands of such people as yourselves, my friend…and you will most definately split ways with them…" The sorceress commented, a surprising softness to her usually most severe tone of voice.
Lifting her eyes from the fire, she explained;
-"As you can remember," at least she hoped he did, " one requirement for the successful completion of your personal quest were that you went the length of it alone."
Blinking, as though slightly befuddled by conflicting questions, her muscular warrior decided to ignore the first that had lept to mind;
-"But my witch will be allowed with us, right?"
-"…of course, Minsc. Of course."
The little animal made noises, and the ranger peered down at it, as if listening.
Looking back up from it, Dynaheir was afraid he would ask what it was she did not tell him, but he simply let his eyes lower to rest on the flickering flames of the fire.
Following suit, she let her mind wander to the warning she had been given just before setting out...;
That the seers had predicted only one to return…
Yeah, I know…kinda mean to put that sort of knowledge in her mind even before meeting the group, but I couldn't rightly find a similarly fitting end to this piece…feel free to ignore that little tidbit when the full BG1- thing comes…sometime late 2025*… ;-P
*;A JOKE! A JOKE! PROMISE!!!
