The moonlight shines through the window, bathing the room in a milky blue-gray haze and for the first time, Remus doesn't resent its swelling growth. He appreciates the moon and sends it a silent thank you for making Sirius appear more God-like and ethereal than he usually does, though Remus actually didn't think it possible. His knees buckle when Sirius' teeth pull his earlobe. Sirius laughs, a slow, lazy chuckle bubbling from the base of his vocal vibration, and catches Remus before he hits the floor. They stare at each other for a moment, their eyes shining with anticipation and something too intense, too sharp, to be called love. Sirius pulls Remus up and together they stumble to the closest bed, which happens to be James'.
They fall on top of each other, groping and kissing, sloppily declaring their love with bold brushes of the hand and the subtle clenching of muscles and pushing of hips. When Sirius' fingers fly across Remus' shirt and the touch tingles the sensitive skin of his stomach, he gasps into Sirius' mouth. Sirius whispers, "Remus..." reverent and low, like a prayer to a God he hadn't believed existed until just now. His hands are shaky as he pulls off Remus' shirt, unbuttons his trousers, and slides everything to the floor. There is worship in his eyes, in his touch, and Remus can't breathe. This is more real than any war.
Sirius discards his own clothing and whispers an obsessive mantra as he attempts to kiss Remus' entire body. He bends his head and takes Remus into his mouth, laving his tongue around the entire length like he's trying to keep ice cream from melting. Remus throws his head back and opens his mouth into a silent scream. Ecstasy is nothing compared to this. Sirius continues his ministrations until Remus tenses for a moment, then comes with a violent shudder, opening his wild eyes to stare down at Sirius, who is watching him intently.
Remus breathes hard for a moment before drawing Sirius back up along his body to kiss him lazily. Surprisingly, Sirius is soft against his stomach.
"You...?"
"Yeah. Couldn't help it. You're...Moony, you're almost too much. If you were any more, I don't think I could...you're just too...GOD I can't find words. There aren't words for you."
Remus' cheeks are wet and he knows that Sirius won't call him a girl this time. He stands and gently draws Sirius to his feet, casting a quick cleaning charm on James' bed and silently apologizes for using it. He guides Sirius to his bed and they cover themselves with blankets and press against each other with almost violent insistence. Remus thinks that if he can burrow inside of Sirius, maybe the world won't seem so bad.
