Author's Note: Ok, I know I'm not really good at poetry, so please no flames. This poem is about how Boromir fought to protect Merry and Pippin. Hope you like it! I do not own Lord of the Rings or any of its awesome characters.
Boromir's Lament
With
a sword in his hand
And a shield on his back
Boromir ran to
begin his attack
He
had to protect them
He had to try
Though Boromir knew this
would be his goodbye
The
Gondorian horn
Sounded that day
Not much longer could he keep
them at bay
To
Merry and Pippin
Boromir cried "Run!"
It was now all the
Urik-hei against one
Though
there wasn't much hope
Boromir fought
It wasn't too long
before he was shot
He
continued to fight
Despite all the pain
And then Boromir was
shot again
He
was too weak to fight
Though again he tried
Then another arrow
was thrust in his side
The
Hobbits were taken
As Boromir fell
The Hobbits were gone and
their group was dispelled
With
his dark brown hair
And his grayish-blue eyes
This Lord of
Gondor
Would not again rise
