Chapter 1: Tik Tak

A little girl probably in grade 5 awoke from her slumber, plodded to her window and slowly opened it.

Her room was small and inviting. Once you entered the door a bed was pushed to the back of the room, a desk to your left and a wardrobe on your right. The walls were painted a faint green and the purest of white. Sora, the child that occupied the room had brown hair that went below her shoulders, she had clear emerald eyes, and she constantly look like she was going to burst in tears. She was a small and sweet girl, innocent, shy, careful and plain.

Again, with one hand rubbing her eye, Sora slowly opened her window tired and rested her head on the window sill. The sky was gray and covered in sad, depressing clouds. Leaves of trees had small droplets of rain on them from the previous shower.
"Tweet tweet! ~" the melodic sound of a small bird caused Sora to raise her head.
"Hello…" Sora replied to the bird sheepishly.
The sound of the pitter pater that came from the minuscule droplets came falling heavier and heavier and the bird flew off. The rain came falling heavier and heavier. Sora closed the window and fell onto her bed and wraps herself with her green polka dotted blanket and quietly said, "Hello…How are you?" but no one was there to hear her and her chocking voice. Her tears fell from her face one by one. The tears fell as heavily as the rain, fast and heavy. Just like Sora's tears, the rain outside was persisting falling heavier and heavier, stronger and stronger, and much more violent. If you were able to collect your tears, Sora's tears would fill an ocean 4X over! And she's in grade 5 god dammit, at such a young age and she has cried this much?

Sora tried to wipe her tears away, but like the rain her tears kept falling. This process has been repeated every day. She would cry herself to sleep, or start her day with a sob. The rain had lightened up and the sun came beaming down. Sora's tears stop flowing and before she got ready for school in her empty room which only occupied herself and stuffed toys; in her soft, timid voice she whispered…
"Can someone please wind me up?"
And as she procrastinated, her conscience had enough of Sora's attitude and constant sobbing.

Sora's conscience that I (panda) have officially named Amaya meaning "evening/night rain". Can conscience have names or be named? I (panda) don't know, but I just wouldn't be bothered typing/writing "Sora's" or "her conscience…" every time she appears. Can they have genders? I don't know but screw it; it's my story any ways.

Amaya (the conscience of Sora) was fed up and decided to take action…
