Kurt wasn't quit sure what to think about Nick the first time he met him. Loud, rambuncious, and funny the blond boy was a ball of energy. His boyfrined, Jeff was calmer, but just as crazy when he was with him. Which was pretty much every hour of the day. So Jeff, not actually really that calm. The two with their innuendo team name, 69 mafia, not just a sexual term, standing for how many times they had each tried out for solos for the Warblers.

But even with all of Nick's energy, Kurt knew he'd found a lasting friend in the Niff boys. Nick and Jeff. Jeff and Nick. Niff Jeck. Nick and Jeff and Kurt.

Yeah, they were an odd crew. But when Kurt transferred back to McKinely they were the only Warblers to stay with him, beside Blaine. And they were there for him still wwhen Blaine accused him off cheating, and again when Blaine cheated on him. That one is what surprised him. Kurt thought they'd go with Blaine. The boy who'd lead them for years before Kurt even knew of their existence or theirs of Kurts.

But they stayed with him. And that's when Kurt absolutely knew; they'd always stay with him, to the very end.

P.S.

isn't ironic that the first word was a Warbler. You know what they say, Once a Warbler, Always a Warbler. :p
