Altight, I originally wrote this for my Uncle... he passed away recently. I thought about it, and I said "This sort of fits how ChiChi feels when Goku dies. I decided to post ot online for the heck of it. So, here it is... (tyr to think of this in ChiChi's perspective.)
ChiChi sat at her night table trying to take it all in. Sh sighed frustratedly and thought things through. Those three words echoed in her mind:
"Dad's dead."
"Dad's dead."
"Dad's dead."
Her Gohan had to break the news to her. Everything was such a blur. Memories flew by in her head. The day they first met, their Wedding Dar, the day Gohan wa born. Now she had to make her own memories. She could no longer share it with the person she loved. Goku was everything to her. Her hopes, her dreams. Although she yelled at him a lo, she just wanted the best for him and Gohan.
ChiChi sighed and took out a pen and paper. She had to express herself. That was the way she delt with her pain. Every night, she'd take out old love letters Goku had written her and read them over, and over, and over again. She still couldn't beleive he was gone. She put down her paper and pen and walked slowly towards her closet. She took out his clothes and held them close. His smell still resided on his clothing, and she wanted to remember every bit of him. She put back the clothes and resumed to her paper and pen. She sighed deeply and began writing:
The Death of a loved one
You wake up in a dream,
you pretend it's not real;
the person you loved is no longer there,
to hold you,
to talk to you,
to listen to your thoughts.
As you take it all in,
you realize you're not sleeping.
The tears fall, and your world is crushed.
A stab of guilt floods your heart, as you realize
it's your fault.
For not taking time to spend, to hold, to mend.
Memories fly like photographs, and you want to take back things you did, things you said.
The body lays before you, still and undisturbed.
Looking so peaceful, and put to rest.
You break down and knowing you're not in a dream,
that person you love, is stripped away.
She took a sigh of relief and put down the pen. She folded the poem tightly, and kissed it tenderly.
She then whispered, "I love you, Goku."
Im sorry if it was retarded. But my main focus was on the poem. I just added the story in between.
Thx,
