"Isn't that cute?" Yukito said, pointing towards Sakura and Syaoran as they made crowns of braided clover.
"Why does she have to hang around with that brat?!" Toya growled in annoyance.
"You should be happy Sakura has a friend her own age to be with… like I have you."
Toya smiled at his best friend and nodded.
"I know, but still...that brat makes me uneasy."
"Toya relax, Sakura is safe and happy, that's all that matters."
Before Toya could reply the silver haired teen stepped ahead of him.
"Hi Sakura!" He called as he and Toya approached the pair.
The two brunnettes smiles up at them as the older teens sat down with them.
"Sakura, would you mind showing me how to make a crown of clovers?" Yukito asked the younger heir sweetly.
The young princess beamed as she gathered up more clovers.
"Sure Yukito, just …"
"Sakura!" Her tutor called from across the courtyard.
"It's time for your lessons! Syaoran feel free to join us!"
The two gave a wave, leaving an unhappy Toya and a Yukito with a lap full of clover.
"Shame all these clovers have to go to waste." Yukito muttered sadly.
Toya gave an over exasperated sigh and plopped down next to Yukito in the grass
"Here Yuki I'll show you."
Five minutes later Toya held the crown triumphantly.
It looked just like Sakura's, except that in the middle of the crown was a small white flower.
Toya placed the crown on Yukito silver-white hair.
"You look beautiful." Toya whispered lovingly before he leaned forward to place a kiss on Yukito soft lips.
Yukito eagerly kissed back, loving the feel of Toya's lips against his own.
When they did part Toya held both Yukito's hands in his own.
Making sure not to break eye contact Toya slipped a matching ring of clovers on Yukito's slim ring finger.
"Will these be okay until I can get you real ones?" He whispered softly, blushing just the tiniest bit.
"As long as it's from you it's worth more to me then a crown full of jewels." Yukito answered sincerely.
The two kissed lovingly, both wondering what the future would bring.
But knew as long as they had each other it would be okay.
Revised from the original. I added the ring for a nice touch. Tell me what you think people!
