Counting Down
First thing you should know: This story sucks.
This isn't the kind of story where you say "this could've been better" but it's more like the one where you don't even bother going past the first few sentences because they're that dull.
So. Now that you know, ignore everything that's under this sentence. Do something else. Go get something to eat. Text your friends. Play Xbox. Take a nap. Reading this isn't just boring, it a waste of time.
..No? Still reading? Either you're:
More stubborn/stupid than I thought
OR
You're really just THAT bored
Look, I won't sugar-coat this. Writing this is dangerous enough. Why? Let's just say that if some people read this, I'm dead and Humanity is done for. I'm serious about this. Unlike what some people think, (The world going up in a big ball of fire, the planet ripping itself apart or some idiot creating a virus destroying all life) the world and all life on it will just..fade away. Not a bang or a whimper but quietly vanishing. To clarify, let me put it like this: start thinking of your friend. Sounds weird but just do it. Now, try imagining that they never existed. Why do that, you ask? Because THAT'S what'll happen. On a global scale. One by one, the people you care about will vanish and you won't even know. Some lucky ones won't notice the change. Others...well they'll be considered crazy. They'll be the only ones who know the truth of what's happening. I know this because my friend vanished the exact way. And that this whole mess is my fault. I've had to learn the hard way that time is not to be messed with. EVER. Since I've said all this, you might as well hear the whole story. How this started. Everything beginning during a summer break, going to places that should be left alone and a pair of hopeless (well, only me) pre-teens.
