Andy's mind wasn't there. Well, it was, but it was focused on other things. Like Jennifer. He hated seeing her so upset, it irked him in the wrong way. She was always so on top of things. She always knew what to do, what to say, and what to think. It made sense, in a twisted way, why she got the highest pay at the station; without her, nothing would get done.

Right before he walked up to the door, he thought better of it and decided to go check on her. SHe probably wasn't gone yet, and there was no harm in checking.

He found her sitting at her desk, flipping through her magazine again. He had to smile. She was pretty, even from the back. He knocked on the doorframe three times and said with a smile, "Need some late-night company?"

She was already smiling when she turned to face him. "Hi, Andy. I was just leaving."

He walked over to her and shot a glanced at her magazine. "I can see that." After a small blush penetrated through her blush, he added, "Feeling better?"

"Yeah, a little. You guys were right, but I still feel bad." She started to feel tears coming back, but she pushed them back with all the inner and outer strength she had.

"It's not your fault, alright?" He gently put his strong hands on her shoulders, looking straight into her eyes. "You and Bailey did the right thing, I promise you. I'm proud of you, Jennifer. I really am."

Great, now she really wanted to cry! Nice going, Andy. She turned away from him and tried to blink back the tears. "Can you please leave, I'm going to cry again."

Andy had to laugh. She was really something. "Jennifer, how about instead of making everyone leave when you cry…" he gently turned her to face him again, finding a few tears in her eyes. "…you let someone hug you."

She nodded. "Ok." She let him wrap his arms around her, and followed his actions, letting her head rest on his shoulder. "Thank you, Andy."

"Anytime, Jennifer. Anytime."
