AN: Sorry if it's extremely short! Not my best work, I literally wrote it in 30 minutes... Anyways, I hope you let me know what you think! I promise my next fic will be longer! :)

The birds were singing outside the glass-paned windows at Toby Cavanaugh's loft. Wrapped in wrinkled white sheets, he looked over at his beautiful girlfriend who was sleeping in a fetal position. Her chocolate curls strewn around her face, he could tell she was tired from their study session the night before. She had come over to his loft above The Brew, asking him to review her for her exams the next day.

Toby's digital alarm clock started to ring, but he turned it off immediately. It was 6:30 in the morning. They had been up until midnight the night before, making flashcards and holding semi-competitive quiz bees. Toby smiled at the sight of Spencer, who seemed oblivious to the rays of sunlight hitting her face, curled up in a grey sweater that Toby had given her. The 6-ply cashmere top perfectly complemented her almond eyes. Sometimes Toby had to ask himself what he did to deserve someone as amazing as Spencer. It was cheesy, but he knew that Spencer was way too good for him. And to have someone like her be there for him every single day of his life – well, he had lucked out to the highest level.

Spencer started to stir, and stretched out of her cocoon of blankets. She rubbed her sleepy eyes, and opened them to see Toby staring at her. "Good morning," she said, yawning.

Toby cuddled closer to her, and she rested her head in his chest. "Good morning, beautiful," he whispered, his lips a centimeter away from her forehead. He lightly kissed her head of messy brown tresses. "You have another hour until your exam. Would you like to do some extra reviewing?"

She shook her head. "I know this isn't like me, but I'm all studied out from last night."

"Okay then," Toby said. "In that case- I will go and make you breakfast and an extra-strong cup of coffee." He pulled himself away from her, and she pouted. She had wanted to cuddle with him a little while longer, and resorted to cuddling with the $400 Tempur pillow Hanna had gifted Toby for his back problems.

Toby put on a pair of boxer shorts and proceeded to the kitchen, cracking eggs and frying bacon for Spencer. Once his masterpiece – French toast with blueberries, maple bacon, and Italian ground coffee – was finished, he brought them over to Spencer in a black breakfast tray. She was sleeping in a spread-eagle position, the pillow now over her eyes to shield them from the harsh sunlight. Toby plucked a daisy from the flower arrangement lying on his bathroom counter (he was about to gift them to Emily as a congratulatory gift for making it to Danby) and placed it on the tray. He placed the tray on the bedside table and crawled into bed beside Spencer, running his hands up and down her sleeve.

"Hey, Sleeping Beauty," he whispered. "I have coffee for you." This caused Spencer's eyes to immediately open. Toby's face was just millimeters from hers, and she greeted him with a good-morning kiss.

"I will never understand how you can still kiss me with morning breath and all," she remarked, giggling. Sighing into his mouth, she wrapped her arms around his neck and played with his hair.

Breaking their embrace, Toby lifted the tray and brought it to her lap. Spencer smiled at him. After 3 and a half years of being together, he still knew that one of her greatest weaknesses was breakfast in bed. "You should cook for me more often," she joked, lifting her coffee cup to her lips. It was probably the 30th time he had "surprised" her by cooking for her, but everytime he did it, she fell more and more in love with him.
