Merlin was preparing the prince's chambers for bedtime, when a furious Arthur stomped into view.

Merlin raised a very-much-like-Gaius eyebrow. "Sire?"

"Merlin, where is it?" Arthur demanded.

Merlin's face turned guilty, and he fidgeted.

"I have no idea what you're talking about." He said, trying to keep a straight face.

Arthur glared, greatly annoyed at his idiotic servant.

"Merlin you have the count of three to tell me where it is. One... Two... –"

"Alright!" Merlin burst out, exasperated. "It's in the wardrobe."

The last time Merlin had waited till, "three", Arthur had put him in the stocks.

He would not repeat that mistake.

Arthur walked over to the wardrobe, opening the door almost frantically, searching for the hidden item.

"Merlin!" Arthur yelled, turning to his good for nothing manservant. "I don't see him anywhere!"

Merlin stopped snickering at the look on Arthur's face, and crinkled his eyebrows in confusion. "….Him?"

Merlin had been talking about Arthur's favorite hunting crossbow, and he had no idea that Arthur had meant something else entirely.

"Anhoura, the keeper of the unicorns." The young king replied, as if the answer was obvious.

This only confused Merlin further.

"Anhoura wouldn't fit in a wardrobe; did you hit your head on your bedpost again!?"

Arthur didn't want to admit what he was really looking for, for the sake of his pride... then again, that had been his last trouble with Anhoura - Pride.

So, Arthur didn't answer, just silently searched until he found the item he was looking for in the laundry basket.

Merlin quickly walked around Arthur to find that he was holding a little stuffed unicorn, its body made of velvet and horn of silk.

"Morgana gave him to me! Isn't he awesome?" The clearly enchanted prince grinned.

Merlin nodded slowly, not sure if he wanted to bang his head on the wall in frustration, or laugh for hours.

'Only Morgana.' He thought to himself.

Morgana sat, looking in the scying mirror Morgause had given her. She may not have accepted Morgause's offer to join her, but her sister had accepted her decision -more or less- and kept in touch. As Uther's ward watched Arthur fawn over his unicorn, she fought hard to suppress a laugh, for she didn't want Gwen hearing. She made the mirror return to normal as soon as she realized Merlin was coming to pay her a visit.
