"HIHIHI! COILSPRING!" Sunsplash yowled. "Oh, for StarClan's dung, WHAT?!" Sunsplash's former mentor screeched. Coilspring, at first, had been excited to get her first-ever apprentice. But now, she kinda regretted it, and you really can't blame her, if your own apprentice was more excited than you by like 10 times. During the rubbing-your-nose (uh, unhygienic?) part, Sunsplash (Sunpaw by then) smushed her nose so hard, Coilspring had almost became a Persian. She was SOSOSOSO glad that Sunsplash, somewhat magically, made it to a warrior. But, due to Flashstar's commands, she still had to "spend time" with good old Sunny, as if she didn't have enough time doing that. But it was required for all mentors, so Coilspring went along with it.

"Coilspring! I see a SNAKE! IM GONNA NAME IT SLIPPY!" Came the voice of Sunsplash. Her golden-yellow tail squished around, the white tip flashing as much as her yellow eyes. Coilspring gasped and urgently hurried her bronze-sepia colored legs into a sprint. She screeched to a halt in front of Sunsplash. "Sunsplash, NO! You'll get BITTEN, it's an ADDER! THEY HURT!" She spat at her. Sunsplash flicked an ear, and swiped a paw to clean the white tabby marking splashed on her face. "It's ok Coilspring." She whispered in a rather soft voice. "He's not going to hurt me, see? He just ate. I'm not sure about you though...you might want to back away..." Coilspring was surprised. Where was her energetic little fireball? Had the snake bit her, and made her all weird? "See, Slippy is nice...you're not going to believe me, because I know some cats think I have problems..." Coilspring was shocked, but then Sunsplash's eye gleamed once again. "OH MY STARCLAN LOOKEE IT'S A VOLE! Hi vole! Oh look it's a patrol! Hi Flameleap! Hi Skitterlight!" "Hey Sunsplash!" They called back, grinning. They had just had a bad day of hunting; a huge rabbit had escaped their grasps. But Sunspash's everlasting happiness had cheered them up. That's so Sunsplash, Coilspring thought, making the damp forest warm as heck with her sunshine. Seeing Sunsplash making someone's day better had also made her day better as well.
