Chapter 1

I hate being a demigod. It gives me terrifying dreams. I was in my bed at Camp-Half Blood and, I'm not joking about this, my cabin gives me the chills because I'm the only person in here. Well, if you don't count my half-brother Tyson, who is a cyclops. You can't really count him because he snores until noon and sleeps at seven pm. Reminds me of my stinky step-dad Gabe. Not the stinky or the rudeness, but the sleeping part.
Anyway, I was dreaming, and I dreamed that Gaia had taken all my friends and forced me to watch them die. The most painful part was Annabeth. She was screaming for me. For my help. And I couldn't even help my girlfriend. I felt so...hopeless.
"Brother! Wake up! Percy!" Gaia said.
"What?" I asked, confused.
The next thing I knew, I was pushed off my bed, and I landed on the ground with a big thud.
"Oww..." I rubbed my head.
"Sorry, brother, but you were shouting Annabeth's name and you were sweating," a one-eyed monster with an orange t-shirt said to me.
"Aahhh!" I screamed. "Oh, it's you Tyson. Thank you for waking me up. I had the worst dream ever." I said to him.

"That's an achievement, Seaweed Brain," someone said in front of my door.
"Annabeth! I...I..." I didn't have the guts to explain the dream to her. Sure, she'd understand, but she might worry.
She gave me a kiss on the cheek. "Have a wash, Percy. I won't kiss you until you're clean," she said.
I laughed. "I can't live without them, so I guess I'll have to wash. My least favourite thing to do."
"See you later. Bye Tyson." Annabeth replied, shutting the door.
I heard fast, heavy footsteps. Something was wrong with Annabeth.
"I... have to go, Tyson. See ya around!" I said as I ran off to chase Annabeth.
"What about washing?" He yelled.
I ignored him and kept on running. What if it's about her dad? Ihaveto help her!

"Annabeth! Annabeth!" I shouted across the hallways.
"Shut up Percy! Some people are trying to sleep!" Clarisse hissed.
"Then wake up, lazybones!" I snapped.
Clarisse snorted. "Yeah? Well, let's see if everyone else has woken up. Hey I've got a good idea! How about you wake up! It's three in the morning, Jackson!"
"Wha?" I stammered.
"Yeah, stupid! It's threein the morning!" Clarisse teased.
I just ignored her and continued on the search for Annabeth.
I finally found her in her cabin. "Annabeth, what's wrong?" I asked, anxious.
"Percy..." She said between sobs.
I gave her a hug, then wrapped my arm around her. "Come on Annabeth. What's wrong?" I repeated.
"It's...It's Hera," she finally answered.
Anger flared through my body. Sure, she was the queen of the gods. Mess with me? Fine. Mess with my girlfriend? You're dead. (Guess where that came from in your review.)
"What did that... woman do to you?" I yelled.
"Calm down, Percy. All she did was tell me that we had no future together and that you and Calypso would be couples in Ogygia," she said to me, tears once again forming in her eyes.
I kissed her on the cheek. "Don't be upset, Annabeth. It's the other way around. Me and you. Calypso and...maybe... Leo!" I declared.
"Why Leo?" she asked.
"Remember when he crashlanded? I bet he went to Ogygia and met Calypso. That's why he doesn't need hot girls anymore," I assumed.
Annabeth laughed at that. "You have a point, Seaweed Brain."
"That's an achievement. Even Wise Girl approves!" I celebrated.
Annabeth laughed harder.
"What?" I asked all innocent-like.
I thought she would die by then. Her face was burgundy, and she was laughing her head off. I couldn't help but laugh too. Her laugh was so gorgeous.
"Let's go and sleep some more, Annabeth," I suggested.

She nodded and kissed me goodbye. I felt so much better after that talk. Now I needed to go back and... wash myself.
