Ok this is just short story that I thought of when I was bored. WARNING it will be short, it is all I will say.

It was a bright sunny morning in Jasper Park, with the warmth of the sun heating the cool valley after a cold night. The heat from the sun was leaving only happiness wherever its golden shine landed. Throughout the valley jokes would be told and laughter would follow shortly after.

Every wolf in the valley was having a great day, having the whole day to do whatever they wanted, everyone was relaxed and the smiles never left their faces. Everyone but one particular grey wolf, this grey wolf had been felling extremely sad lately but no one could understand why.

The grey wolf had not slept or eaten since the day before, he just continued to walk laps through the valley. He walked until his paws were bloody, then he kept walking, never stopping. He ignored everyone who tried to talk to him, he would just keep walking.

As the wolf walked the paths of the forest a beautiful tan wolf happily paced over to him.

The tan wolf greeted the grey wolf once she was standing next to him "Hey Humphrey".

"Oh, ah, hi Kate" Humphrey replied sadly.

"I came over to ask you what day your birthday is" a happy Kate questioned

Kate knew Humphrey was feeling sad lately, and like everyone else she had no idea why. She wanted to do something nice for him and the best thing she could think of was a huge birthday party for him, since he hasn't ever had a giant party.

"My birthday" Humphrey replied sadder now.

"Yes can you tell me" Kate responded.

"Um I don't really want to talk about my birthday" Humphrey said, thinking it would stop her questioning.

"Why not, can you just tell me?" Kate continued.

"No I can't" Humphrey replied.

"Come on please" Kate said with her puppy eyes.

"You want to know when my birthday is" Humphrey said after a moment of staring into Kate's eyes.

"Yes I do, tell me" Kate said straight after Humphrey finished.

Humphrey had small tears in his eyes now.

"It was yesterday"

Well thats that, story over, game over
