Greetings, fan of the RWBYverse, name's King of 2211 and I'm here to ask you something quite different: though this is not in the crossover archive, maybe someone out there can make a RWBY xover with the manga series Kenji. For those who don't know, Kenji is a manga series that was illustrated by Yoshihide Fujiwara and written by a very important figure who was one of the first to show Japan the appeal of Chinese Kung Fu; Ryuchi (I kid you not, that's his name instead of Ryuichi; hence the name's short of an I). The series of which is, supposedly, based on his own life.

The story stars the titular boy named Kenji Goh, who is taught by his grandfather Kyotaro the devastating Kung Fu style of Bajiquan, specifically Li Shu Wen's style, despite Kenji's mother's abhorrence against violence. Kenji's Baji training goes uncompleted as Kyotaro goes to china and doesn't return. Years later, a teenage Kenji has made two friends, a Shotokan black belt named Takeshi Hotta who is the disciple of Kyotaro's friend Takayama; Taichi, a pudgy yet kind boy who only knows one move of defense; Fujiyoshi, captain of a High School Sumo Club; Nohda, captain of a High School Boing Club; Akira, a Tekiya (Japanese term or merchants who proceed the Yakuza) girl who starts to take a shine on Kenji; along with many more on his journey. At the same time, Kenji makes a bitter rival in a Chinese gangster named Tony Tan, and an enemy of a Chinese cult called the Yecha Wang.

Kenji learns various martial arts, but holds Baji his prime objective. His journey of the martial arts brings him from Japan, to Taiwan, to Hong Kong, then to the mainland China in search of his grandfather. Also on his journey, he becomes part of a union of Chinese martial arts and even meets a real life master of Mantis Kung Fu, Su Yu Chang, and Baji Grandmaster Liu Yun Qiao.

Now many of you out there may compare this to Kenichi History's Mightiest Disciple, but before you do, let me explain. The artwork is amazing, the story is fluid, everything's grounded and realistic, characters are likable, and the lead character is someone you can relate to. I do respect that Kenichi is well liked, despite his cowardice at the smallest ting and against arming females. Just saying, Kenji feels more to home than the nonsense Kenichi has.

Now on to the RWBY part, what if Kenji and his family lived in Remnant and his grandfather was a famous and inspirational Huntsman in his youth. Kenji could also be acquainted with Yang and Ruby or not. His Semblance and weapon can be up to anyone, though maybe he can have a small harem with Akira, Yang, and Velvet (that girl seriously needs more love; she deserves more love).

I myself would do such, but I'm not so good at keeping characters in character. If anyone out there has read Kenji and is interested with making an xover with RWBY, I hope you the best.
