"So… what now?" Asked Al.
"I'm not quite sure.." Replied Ed.
Alphonse and Edward Elric.
Two brothers who had been thrown into a parallel world in order to save each other from death. The year was 1922, London, England.
As they drove through the countryside of this vivid land, memories never ceased to plague them of the previous world they had been in…
A flash of light, a tattooed arm, flames coming out of nowhere and…
The car made a sudden bump in the road and with a jolt Ed and Al came crashing back down to reality.
" The city isn't too far off from here." Stated Edward.
Al frowned.
"How long have you been in this world? I only came here a while ago."
"4 years Al. The world isn't that different as our own. Not many of the people are different. Heck, you'll recognize Maes here!" Said Edward.
Al gasped.
"Maes? He's alive here? That's incredible!"
Ed replied chucking.
"Yea, that's what I thought to. Things can change over here."
"So I've noticed…" Al froze.
"Hey…Ed?" He said.
"Yea Al?"
"Is..." Al paused.
"Is mom still alive?" Al asked forlornly.
Ed, melancholy, gazed at the road.
" 'Friad not Al. I checked. The fact over here is she's still…gone."
They continued the rest of the drive in silence.
The moon was rising by the time they arrived in London.
At first, barely anything was visible. A misty fog clouded the nearby lands, rendering visibility to a minimum.
"I'm starting to believe this London of yours is fake." Muttered Al.
Ed scowled. "It's not fake Al. Its real. Why else would I be driving this way?"
Scoffing, Al replied " Come on, really? Flying machines? I don't believe that."
Grinning, Ed replied, " Oh you'll see Al. I can't wait to see the look on your face…"
Suddenly, a giant cluster of buildings loomed out of the fog.
"Welcome to London!" Edward shouted.
