Summary: '…he'd always whisper to Kate, "You and the kids come first." He meant that to the very end.'
Character: Gordan
Note: Am I the only one bummed out about his death? I kind of liked the poor guy.
Promise
A promise made should be a promise kept.
~~Steve Forbes
He had to admit that Jackson wasn't all that bad of a guy. Yes, he'd been a bit work-oriented, but he loved his kids (and his ex, Gordan suspected, but he never had the chance to find out. He was right).
He wanted a family. Noah and Lily were great, but he wanted something to call his, that was a part him, part Kate- the woman he loved.
He saved them. Whenever the quakes would hit, he'd always whisper to Kate, "You and the kids come first." He meant that to the very end.
Even though it meant his demise.
