Me: I totally don't need to do another fanfic, I have two major projects already.

Me me: Guess what you've got a new idea anyways and you're gonna do it.

Yep, so here we are, new fanfic idea when I have two other major projects to work on. So goes the life of a creative writer, am I write? (no, I'm not apologizing for the pun, ya'll can meet me in the pits if you want to fight me over it)

Warning: crude language

Anyways, let's get to the start here

Metal City Metropolitan Heights was a beautiful school, set on the outskirts of the city between one of the many scenic forests of Japan, and with a clear view of the beach and ocean. It was a school that was known world wide, and the student body was as diverse as it could be, given that its doors were open to all people from different countries.

"Hello!"

A young woman with raven hair streaked silver looked up from her sketchpad as a shadow fell over her. The breeze pushed some of her bangs across her pale face, forcing the woman to tuck the stay locks behind her ear in order to look at the silouhette of the group standing over her.

"Uh..." Kuro Blackheart blinked, warily, "Hello."

The male who had spoke earlier waved, a bright smile on his face, "Hi! My name's Ryuto Katashi, and these three here with me are Lucas, McKandless, Nero Konzern, and Kakeru Tategami."

"Our apologies for bothering you," the green haired male said. "But Ryuto noticed you were sitting alone, and well... there's nothing to stop him when he wants to get involved in something."

The raven haired girl smiled, a small thing that was barely there, "No, it's fine, really. I was just working on some art pieces to show off for my first day of class next week."

"Ah, so you're new here?" The blonde male asked, adjusting his bookbag strap over his shoulder.

Kuro nodded, "I transfered from Hong Kong to start college here."

"Well we welcome you, then- Uh, whoops, we didn't catch your name," Ryuto chuckled nervously, running a hand through his red and white hair.

Kuro shut her sketchbook closed, putting it and her pencils away into her own bookbag, before she stood up. She held a charchol stained hand out, "Kuro. My name's Kuro Blackheart."

"Holy hell, you're tall," Kakeru's eyes were wide.

"And she's not even wearing heels," Nero said, dryly.

Ryuto didnt look fazed, simply shaking Kuro's hand with a wide smile, "Nice to meet you, Kuro! What's your major here?"

"Major in Art and minor in History," Kuro said, as she slung her bag over her shoulder. "What about you guys?"

"Theater and dance," Ryuto grinned.

"Music," Kakeru answered.

"Sounds like you'd get along with Jackson then," Nero chuckled. "I'm in the theater and musical program here, along with Lucas here."

"Though, I'm working more on my music degree," The redhead shook his head, smiling a little. "Hey, have you gotten settled into your dorm room yet? Have you had a tour of the school yet? We can show you around if you'd like."

"I..." Kuro frowned. She thought for a moment, before shrugging, "I could use some help unpacking my dorm room... I haven't exactly met my room mate yet, so it'd be... nice, to get to know some people?"

"Sure thing, we can help!" Kakeru grinned, as the group started across the courtyard, "Say, Kuro, got any family?"

Kuro nodded, brushing her bangs from her hair, "I have one brother. He transferred with me to Japan, but he's not going here. He's taking classes at Metal City Sports Academy. He's quite good at soccer."

"Oh, you don't say, hm... Well, I wish him luck against my brother," Lucas chuckled.

Kuro raised an eyebrow, "What do you mean?"

"My brother, Wales, goes to MCSA too," Luke grinned, a bit dryly. "But if I know my brother... he'll make your brother feel right at home."

"Okay, so, as your room mate I'm making it my duty to show you around this campus, even if I have to drag you,"

Bao Blackheart smirked, pulling his rust red hair back out of his eyes and into a messy bun, "Yeah? You know, you remind me of my sister, Wales."

Across the room on his own bed, the other redhead rolled his eyes, "Oh, my own brother would get a kick out of that. He's always saying my older sibling instincts are too strong for the common man or woman."

"Life of an older sibling, I suppose?" Bao asked, rolling the soccer ball back on to the arch of his foot and kicking it into the air, before hitting it with his knee and the side of his foot. He caught it in mid air and flopped back on to his bed, "Why don't you tell me a bit about him?"

"Only if you tell me about your sister," Wales requested, twirling a pencil over his fingers.

"Fair is fair- she transferred to the Met for her college education," Bao shrugged. "It'd be easy to pick Kuro out of a crowd- black leather and badass attitude but honestly a soft artist at heart."

Wales arched an eyebrow, "She's at Metropolitian Heights? That's like, one of the best creative schools in the world, and I know two people who go there- my girlfriend and brother."

"Really?" Bao tilted his head, "Small world. What's your brother's name?"

"Lucas, but only I get away with calling him that," Wales chuckled. "He prefers Luke... or, if one is feeling especially gutsy, Lulu."

"... I'm gonna text my sister that and if she meets him, bet fifty bucks to do it," Bao said, pulling his phone out to do so.

Lucas McKandless- if you meet him, fifty bucks says you don't have the balls to call him Lulu.

No sooner had Bao hit send, than did his sister promptly request a facetime call. Suprised, Bao accepted it, seeing his sister's smirk on the screen.

"Oh, little brother, don't you know that I'm not one to ignore bets... I'm guessing you've already met Lulu's brother?"

In the background of Kuro's call, there was an unholy screech of rage followed by howling laughter.

"Fuck you, Wales!"

The call ended to Kuro and Wales laughing, Bao even cracking a grin.

Met Luke's brother? I'm his room mate.

Lucky you. I've yet to meet mine. Gtg, getting settled in with my new friends.

Friends? You? Have I stepped into an alternate dimension?

Fuck off.

Chuckling, Bao threw his phone back on his bed and grinned over at a smirking Wales.

"Say, why don't you tell me a bit about yourself?" Bao asked, "Got any friends here?"

"I have one here, and then another that goes to Hades Academy across town," Wales answered with a shrug.

Bao's mind blanked.

"H- Hades Academy? Isn't that like... for the smartest of the smartest people in the world?" Bao squeaked.

Wales rolled his eyes, "I applied there too, but decided I'd rather pursue sports rather than be sought after for my brain. Unfortunately, Julian Konzern, my best friend, did not."

"Will you get out of my way, Konzern?!"

"Go to hell, Katashi,"

"Guys, come on, the first week isn't even up!"

"Bug off, Yuki!"

"... Should I come back at a later time?"

The common room stilled as a female's voice rang through, and three men turned to the door.

A brunette with white streaks through her hair stood in the doorway, arms crossed and green eyes narrowed. A duffle bag was over each shoulder, and a suitcase beside her.

"Um, no!" A short man with brown hair and glasses stood, "Don't worry about them! Julian and Ryuga have a sort of rivalry with each other, and this happens every semester. I'm Yuki Mizusawa, Miss...?"

The girl's eyes flickered from the two boys on the floor to Yuki. She smiled, "Call me Nefertiti."

"Miss Nefertiti then!"

"No, no, just-"

"It's useless to try and fight it, newbie," Ryuga shoved Julian to the floor as he stood up. "He addresses everyone as Miss or Mister."

"Ah, I see. Also, don't call me newbie," Nefertiti's eyes narrowed again.

"Only way that'll stop is if you can prove your place here," A voice called from the kitchenette, and a green haired young man stepped out. He smirked, "Long time, no see, Nef."

"Kyoya!" Nefertiti cheered at the sight of her childhood friend, "I didn't know you went to Hades Academy!"

"Second year here. What are you doing here?" Kyoya Tategami asked.

"I'm here to finish my final two years to get my doctorate degree," Nefertiti grinned.

Kyoya's eyes flickered between Nefertiti and an unimpressed looking Ryuga. A slow smirk crawled over his face.

"I'm putting a hundred bucks down that says that Nefertiti can put Ryuga into his place and get him to stop calling her newbie," Kyoya cleared his throat. "Before the day is over."

"I'll take that bet," Ryuga sneered.

"I'll double the winnings of whoever the winner is," Julian popped up, blue eyes glittering with mischief.

Nefertiti rolled her eyes, "I need to cross through here to get to my room apparently. Nice talking to ya'll, but I need to get going." Her hand curled around her suitcase handle as she dragged it across the carpet.

"It was nice to meet you, Miss Nefertiti," Yuki chirped, with a cheery wave. "I hope you get settled in well!"

As Nefertiti passed the couches, she heard Ryuga mutter, "Only an idiot uses the term 'ya'll', like some inbred hillbilly-"

He didn't finish.

Nefertiti moved faster than the eye could follow, pinning Ryuga facefirst to the ground with her knees in his shoulder blades and her nails digging into his coratoid arteries in his neck.

"I dare you to say something about me like that again," Nefertiti hissed as Ryuga struggled for breath. "Because I have it on the best authority that the people you might put into the 'hillbilly' category are some of the smartest people there are." She slammed Ryuga's face into the carpet, idly wishing it was tile or concrete, before getting up and stalking out of the room.

A moment of silence passed.

"... Okay. Kyoya wins the bet," Ryuga groaned.

"As usual," Kyoya smirked. "Next time... just listen to me."
