Okay, so this story is a carry on from my one shot "Sister Hood" although it can be read as a stand alone fic. The only things you have to know is Bellatrix and Narcissa killed Andromeda and Ted Tonks.
I originally wrote the first two chapters to this story in 2008 when I was 15, now I'm almost 23, so I'd like to think my writing has gotten better so I'm re-writting the old chapters. As well as this I keep coming up with things I wish I'd added in chapters so I'm basically going update the majority of this story. I'll always try to state exactly what has changed at the end of each chapter. So, please enjoy. I do love reviews and the inspiration and motivation I get from them, for the record. ;)

Bellatrix Lestrange was the first woman to walk into the darkened yet cosy cottage. She looked around, wand drawn with her long fingers tightly wrapped around the wood. A few moments later Narcissa walked in after her, tears still stained her beautiful face as she also drew her wand. The cottage had been abandoned the night before and only the two sisters, relatives of its owners, knew what had happened. Bellatrix looked back at her sister to see she had stopped in her tracks, staring into the living room through the open door.
It was a relatively normal living room, a cosy little couch, a small oak coffee table, a fire within charming little fire place . . . but it was what was on the fireplace that had caught Narcissa's attention; there were five framed photographs. The first was one of Andromeda and Ted leant against a willow tree in their Hogwarts robes in their seventh year. The second was one of their child, she only looked a few hours old, she had a large amount of mousey brown hair and was wrapped in white blanket with the name "Nymphadora" hand sewn into it in pink. The third was of Andromeda and Ted Tonks on their wedding day both looking as beautiful as they ever had but especially so with Andromeda. The fourth was one of all three of them, Nymphadora, Ted and Andromeda, Nymphadora-still only a very young baby within the picture-wore a small pink dress while her mother wore a long green and black one, the colours had always suited her blood traitor or not, her husband wore a black suit. Yet the fifth and final picture included the two women who now stared at it, it was them when they were in Hogwarts.
All three girls giggling and smiling together, the two eldest sisters looked almost like twins, yet all looked so happy, happier than they ever had looked or ever would again . . . together. This had clearly been the picture that had caught Narcissa's attention and caused her to burst into renewed tears.
Fighting back her own tears Bellatrix placed her arm around her youngest sisters shoulders in an uncharacteristically loving and gentle way and whispered "Come on . . . this was your idea . . . let's just get it over with and we can leave . . ." she kissed the top of her head and took her hand leading her up the stairs.
It was clear which was the room they needed, it had large pink and purple stuffed letters on its door that spelled out "Dora" with some smiley faced and unicorn stickers stuck around the door at random in random places (something Bellatrix suspected the mudblood must have done). Narcissa was the first to go forward this time. She lowered her wand and wiped her tears away taking a deep breath as she placed her hand on the silver door handle and opened the door with a slight push.
The room in front of her was, again, that of a typical baby witch. It had pink walls, with lots of cute cuddly bears and dolls, a shelf of baby books and old wizarding fairy tales, again a few pictures and a large white and pink cot holding the baby.
Narcissa took a deep breath and strode over to the cot and lent over to see her small niece sound asleep. Nymphadora Tonks was wrapped up in her blanket just as her mother had left her. She was beautiful, pale skin, a heart shaped face and blonde hair. Narcissa looked up to Bellatrix, a confused expression on her face.
Bellatrix walked next to her sister, looked at the child soundly asleep and had to force back a slight smile mixed with tears for her sister who had fallen at her own hand "What?" she asked Narcissa.
"Her- . . . Her hair . . ." Narcissa sounded amazed.
"What about it?" Bellatrix snapped back still whispering.
"It- . . . The picture downstairs . . . it's changed colour . . ." Narcissa's gaze was fixed on the small infant in front of her.
Bellatrix looked at the child again then to her sister "Does it matter?"
Narcissa sighed then bent over the cot and picked up Nymphadora who was just beginning to open her eyes, though surprisingly she did not cry, she simply stared at Narcissa with her big brown eyes, whimpering slightly.
"W-What now?" Narcissa asked Bellatrix, rocking her arms slightly to try to rock the baby.
Bellatrix strode across the room and spoke quite plainly as if she had already said this a thousand times "We take her home, raise her as your daughter and my niece. She shall go to Hogwarts and it will be made sure that she is in Slytherin. When she is old enough she shall become a Death Eater. I shall train her of course and as she already has some Black genes in her, however tainted they are by her pathetic excuse of a Mudblood father, she shall no doubt one day be a perfectly fine Death Eater . . . She shall never know of her true parents or blood for that matter and as far as she will know she is," She looked at the child for a moment and then continued to speak "Nymphadora Malfoy, a pureblood and your daughter." She looked at her sister.
"B-But Bella . . ." Narcissa clearly was not happy with this plan 100 "Sh-She looks so much like- . . . like her, who looks so much like you!"
Bella shuddered slightly "I am not passing her as my daughter."
"Oh but Bella it will be so much more believable! You're never seen! I'm always seen and I've never been seen pregnant within the last year!" Dora started to cry slightly in Narcissa's arms as she complained.
"Narcissa-" Bella began to object.
"Please Bellatrix! You know it makes so much more sense! Rodolphus hasn't even been around for 6 months, for all he knew you were pregnant when he left and just didn't realise."
Bellatrix frowned at her for a few moments, musing upon the idea in her head before she eventually walked over to Narcissa, looking down at the child properly for the first time. She wrinkled her nose slightly at the wriggling, whimpering infant. That was until Dora spotted Bella. The child instantly stopped whimpering, reaching out for Bella, her hair changing to match the black of her own and reaching out as a smile appeared on her face.
"B-Bella . . . She thinks- . . . I know you never wanted to admit it but you practically looked like twins . . . You're almost a familiar face to her . . ."
Bellatrix ignored her sister, somehow the little thing in front of her had managed to catch her attention. She never stopped looking straight back at the baby as she slowly took her off her younger sister. Held her out in front of her, her hands hooked under her armpits, studying the child. Nymphadora clearly found it all highly amusing, reaching out to try and grab Bellatrix's hair, the witch having to quickly adjust her grip as the baby almost toppled forward. She vaguely recalled Andromeda being born, she was two years old at the time and fascinated by the idea of a baby sibling . . . Looking down at the infant she now held in her own hands she could barely register the fact that biologically this was her niece . . . her sisters daughter . . . the sister she had just killed.
As if snapped out of a trance Bellatrix pulled the baby closer, holding her properly as she shot a glare at her remaining sister "Fine . . . If I have to."
Narcissa smiled at her sister before looking around the room "You'll be fine . . . Can we leave now?"
"No." Bellatrix placed the child on her hip, flicking her wand as she summoned various items "We need to make it all believable to the outside world . . ."
The elder witch knelt down on the floor, leafing through the various papers that had come to her. All medical papers for Nymphadora, all photographs, absolutely anything she could think of that she would need. She pushed the photographs over to Narcissa "Take out any photographs that aren't her alone."
Narcissa hesitated before she sighed and sat on the floor, leafing through the pictures "Merlin . . ." she pulled one out, showing it to her sister "Look! Some of them don't even move . . . Ridiculous . . ."
"It's muggle rubbish, Narcissa." Bellatrix stated matter of factly before slowly passing her wand over the girls birth certificate, changing all of the details on it to fit with the girls new fabrication of a life.
"How do you know what muggle pictures look like?" Narcissa wrinkled her nose as she pulled more photographs to the side.
"Kill enough of them and you start to notice the details in their hovels . . ." Bellatrix smirked as the younger woman shivered. She returned to the papers bellow, raising an eyebrow as a small hand grabbed onto her bottom lip, she pulled her head back "No."
It was Narcissas turn to smirk, the little girl was laughing again, reaching out to the witches face yet again. Bellatrix did not look anywhere near as amused as the baby was. She picked up everything she had changed, opening the small bag hanging on her hip, sending far more than should be aloud to fit into it its depths. Everything from small papers to the crib went into that small bag on her hip.
Narcissa raised an eyebrow at the bag "I highly doubt that's a legal bag, Bellatrix. You ought to be more careful, you break so many laws maybe stop carrying around evidence of the little ones?"
She walked over to the crib, snatching up the same white blanket from the photograph in the living room and putting it around the wriggling child. "Narcissa, if I can get away with murder, torture and general Death Eater activity I'm sure I can hide a little extension charm." She rolled her eyes at her sisters stupidity as she looked back down to the child, who was still trying to wiggle out of the blanket "Stop it or you'll freeze." Bellatrix pulled the blanket around her tightly and held her in a way that stopped her so easily wriggling out of the blanket.
Narcissa sighed "She's just a baby, Bella."
"Oh I'm sorry," she looked to her sister as she gave her her best sarcastic concern "Would you rather take her?" she rolled her eyes "Of course not."
The pair walked out of the house in silence, closing the door behind them and walking past the gate. Narcissa frowned "Can you Apparate a baby . . .? I mean should you . . ."
Bellatrix rolled her eyes, holding the baby as tightly as she dared "We'll soon find out."
With a crack both witches ended up in the entryway to Lestrange manor.
"Well, Bellatrix, I'd love to stay but Lucius is waiting . . ." Narcissa went to turn on the spot again as Bellatrix grabbed her arm.
"You cannot just leave me alone with the baby!"
"Actually . . . She's your daughter remember? So you do need to get used to her . . . I'll come over tomorrow." Narcissa backed away slightly as her sister glared daggers at her "I- . . . Goodbye." And with that Narcissa Malfoy was gone.
Bellatrix looked down at the baby, she'd seemed to be fine with apparating . . . at least that's what she thought until she noticed the trail of baby puke now down her front. She wrinkled her nose, waving her wand to vanish to sick and going inside the manor. She had ten seconds of peace before the child started crying, she assumed because she hadn't been fed in a long time.
"For merlins sake." Bellatrix walked off to the kitchen with the child, she didn't think she'd be getting much rest anytime soon.
Okay, so appart from spelling errors and the likes everything past Bellatrix explaining their plan is brand new. All word counts don't include authors notes or final messages! So, if you're new or old to this fic please let me know what you think about the changes :D
Thanks,
