An introduction of characters:

Bluebell Alan. This Irish, muggleborn girl happens to be the chosen one of this story. With a pension for potions along with a charismatic, although violent, personality she makes quite a few friends. She has tan skin, black eyes, and scarlet hair.

Aquarius Black: a british pureblood girl with white hair, very dark skin, and red eyes. This young lady has a keen mind for transfiguration. Quite a nice person too, one might say.

George Carlisle: A dark skinned welsh boy that enjoys flying is how he would be described. Along with black hair, one purple eye to go with a brown one set him apart from his yearmates. George is a halfblood.

Carl Carlson: Brown eyes, dark skin, ginger hair, and enjoys History of Magic. The Scottish dude could do well to gain an interesting feature or two. Oh and he's muggleborn.

Shirley Forel: An Aussie chick with a squib dad, and a muggle has little skill in magic, other than above average skill in charms. She has purple eyes, black hair, and mildly dark skin. Goes by Ford.

Tucker Grinch: A Canadian boy with ginger hair that goes nicely with a set of hazel eyes. He's mildly tan enjoying spending his time outside, mostly playing broom-hockey with friends. His mother taught him some basics which led to DADA being his best class.

Fore...thought? foreword? begining messa- we'll leave it at foreword.

Now, how should we do this? Ah yes, we will begin our story on the train, as providing a backstory for all of these characters would be mildly nauseating for me, and downright boring for you. Or maybe we shouldn't, as it was quite the traumatic experience for our young heroes. You see, the back half of the train caught fire and those in charge were forced to detach it. A good 10 or 12 students died. Curiously enough, they were all 1st years. Funny how that works. So as it is, maybe we'll leave the whole train thing alone for now, choosing instead to start with the sorting ceremony. And here we are!
