No one had noticed her, or the others for that matter. But that was just fine by them; they didn't want anyone to know about them, so they stayed 'under the RADAR' as it were. It was better than being poked and prodded at in the name of 'understanding' them. So they were different now – that didn't mean that they shouldn't get to go on with their lives, now did it? She didn't think so.

So they hid, sometimes underground, other times in plain sight, but never when the bigger and older ones showed up. None of them knew what these others call themselves, but they're essentially giant transforming robots from the reports that they'd heard and what they had witnessed in mission city.

Some of them were glad for the changes that had been brought about in them: Others were terrified by it and wanted to deny that anything had happened at all.

But all of them turned to her for leadership. What did she know about leading? She's just a kid. They didn't seem to care and she wished that they did. She wished that she could turn to someone else – someone older and wiser – to help her make the hard choices when the others looked to her.

It was frightening being the leader. And lonely. Why her?

She was just a kid.

But, obviously, it apparently didn't matter in their situation.

So, what exactly were they? None of them knew, but they did know this much; they were becoming more and more like those giant robots.

It scared her as much as any of the others, only knowing half, or less, of what was happening to them – she just set it aside to try and help them like with what had happened to Jimmy last week.

His arm had turned into... Something. Whatever that something was it had ripped through his skin, leaving him screaming in agony. The skin was almost completely healed now, though. She wasn't an expert, but she did know that an injury like that isn't supposed to heal so fast, though she was glad that it was healing so fast, even if she didn't actually know the reason.

She had no idea what they would become in the end, but 12 year old Titania would see them through as best she could and prey that she didn't mess it all up horrendously.

And they would not get caught in the middle of whatever conflict was going on with the giants.

She swore this silently to herself and to those like her.
