I truly don't know much about this series, I've always been interested in it but never got around to watching it. I've finally been able to start watching and have been catching reruns. So, I apologize ahead of time if I make some mistakes, especially when it comes to Asian influence. I'll try my best to not make any serious mistakes, and if I do make them please let me know.

Summary: The century-long war has come to an end. Aang won, but loses his life in doing so. As his last wish he asks Kataka to create a school to teach children of all three remaining nations. Water, Earth and Fire bending was to be taught under the same roof, and the new Avatar was to be found. However, can the Fire Nation be trusted?
Disclaimer: I don't own anything. Anything that has to do with the original plot of Avatar: The Last Airbender belongs to Nick.
Blood spilled from his head. The ruby liquid formed a path as it ran down his cheek, to his chin, and dropping to the dirt below. He took deep breaths, trying to find enough strength to cast one last attack; the attack that would end the war forever.
Aang layed facing Fire Lord Ozai, the leader of the Fire Nation, and the one who he had to defeat to end this century long war. He had mastered all four elements: Air, Water, Earth and Fire, and with the help of his friends, he began fighting the Fire Nation to restore peace and unity to the world.
Many had died since the climax of the fight. One of them being his good friend Sokka who had lost his life at the hands of Prince Zuko. He remembered how grievous Kataka was when she learned the news, but he also clearly remembered the wrath in which she killed Zuko.
Now, the last battle was here. The end of summer was in the horizon, and Sozin's Comet would arrive in less than 24 hours; Aang had to kill Lord Ozai before then.
"Do you give up, Avatar?"
Ozai stood above him, a mocking smirk present in his lips. "Not that it matter. You'll die either way." Aang squealed when he felt Ozay kicked his broken leg. "However, I'll make it quicker if you do submit. So, do you?"
"N-never."
"All the much fun for me."
Aang felt a burning feeling on his left leg. Ozai had set him on fire, to die a slow and painful death. He could feel the fire spreading against his clothing, burning his flesh and leaving life long scar. He could see Ozai walking away, laughing, thinking he has won the war. But he was mistaken, and Aang would prove it to him.
Aang raised his arm, recalling what he had learned when he was studying earthbending in the Earth Kingdom. The rocks in the ground started to move, the earth started to shake and the ground started to crack. Ozai turned around to see what was happening, surprise crossed his face when spike made of dirt shot from the ground, piercing him in the heart.
Aang saw Ozai's body fall to the ground, lifeless. He smiled. He had won. The war was over and harmony would be restored. Darkness enveloped his vision, and weakness took over his body. He may have won the war, but it seemed like he was going to pay a high prize.
I know that some will make connections between this and Harry Potter because of the school. However, things stop there. The rest will have nothing to do with the Harry Potter Series.
