~Prologue~
She came walking down the hall, like the many times she had before, but something was different, very different. She had a motive, a drive, a purpose. She was finally going to do something. Something she wanted to do so long ago, and nothing was going to stop her.
What happened to the girl named Annabeth Chase that was currently strutting down the hallway in pure black, tight skinny jeans and a white, see through, very revealing shirt with the back exposed? What happened to the sweet, innocent, "at the top of her class" intelligent girl?
She was still there, just not completely.
So what happened?
First it was her parents meeting. Second was her parents having her. Third was moving away from California to New York. Fourth was picking the school that was furthest from her home to be her school...where she meet him. Fifth was having a crush and here she was. But that is too far back.
So what really happened?
A crush happened. Teasing happened. Weekend long business trips and sleepovers happened.
And here she was.
Whistles could be heard as she continued her journey down the hallway, her high heels clicking with each step she took. She turned a corner, her blonde curls bouncing behind her, and locked her gray eyes on her target. A smile spread across her face and she noticed there were only three people in the hall.
Her, her target, and her jerk of an ex-boyfriend.
She smiled, knowing that this was going to be more fun than she had originally planned.
She walked down the hall, first passing her ex. She saw from the corner of her eye that he was watching, his face making a surprised expression. She could have sworn she could hear him scolding himself under his breath for breaking up with her.
She stopped right behind her crush. He was looking in his locker, oblivious to her behind him. She heard a locker slam and found her ex-boyfriend watching her, his locker closed. When she looked at him, he turned and went down the hall, disappearing from view. With only her and her crush in the hall, this was her chance.
She grabbed his shoulder and turned him around, making his shoulder hit the locker next to him.
"You, me, tomorrow night, my house. Got it?" Annabeth said, a mischievous smile on her face, one hand on her hip, and the other on his chest. He was breathing hard but soon recovered and gave a crooked, yet charming smile.
"What? You're not going to let me sneak in at midnight?" Annabeth's first reaction was shock, then a smile graced her lips and she brought them up to his ear.
"See you tonight then." She whispered in his ear. She pulled away and walked back down the hallway. When she turned, she found him still pushed against the locker she had slammed him into, but a seductive smile was present on his face. She turned and walked to her locker as other people began to populate the hallway.
"I look forward to seeing you." He whispered to himself. He turned around and pulled a book down from his locker, the smirk still on his face.
She had done what he had wished he had the guts to do all these years.
Finally make a move.
I always ask this but how was it? I know it's not exciting now, but just wait. Most of my first chapters are fillers anyway. Remember to review!
