He slices another soul as it advances. Truly, his skills have grown beyond the mortal realm. After all it's been what, 30 years? Maybe 40? He should be close to the end of the horde by now. He quickly kills two more before stopping amongst the small group before him. Fourteen, fifteen, sixteen. Only 16 to go! He cant quite make out the face of the last one, but thats the least of his worries. He counts down as he cuts through them. Four. Three. Two. He halts as he comes face to face with the last soul.

Wait. That's...how is this possible?

"Integra?" She smiles at him before kissing him on the cheek. Then, she turns, fading into the distance as she walks away. He feels himself go weak and reaches for her as the darkness slowly consumes him.

He feels the transition from the spirit world into the real world. All of the smells and the feelings bring back that sense of nostalgia. He can see his old home. Well, the closest thing he's ever had to a home. Wait, he knows this room. Integra's room. But. Something's wrong here. Her bed looks void somehow. Decrepit, almost. And...cold. "Where is she?" She should be in bed, it's the middle of the night. He stands, the exhaustion quickly being pushed away at the thought of seeing his countess again. He pushes the door open and walks down the hallway. He can hear something. That sounds like...whispering?

Mignonette! Mignonette! Wake up!" Pip yells as seras yawns in her coffin.

"Pip? Is something wrong?" She gets up to see what happened, but she stands too fast and the lid smacks against the wall.

"Merda!"

"Sorry" She sleeps near the wall now, she knows it seems weird but that way she's close to pip. And she sleeps down the hall from integra's old room. It makes her feel like she's not alone. Like it's the three of them together. Like old times. "Sorry, what were you saying?"

"He's here! He's back!"

"Who? Are we under attack?" She says as she runs to grab her cannon.

"Alucard! He's here!"

She drops her weapon as she perks up her ears. He's right, it is him. She frowns. Oh, it's about bloody time. And she's got plenty of things to say to him.

She phases into the hallway as quietly as possible. Just in time to see him in the doorway of integra's room.

"Seras?" She can feel the relief in his gaze but she can also see the pain and regret in his eyes.

"Master." She says, clearly unsure of how to feel in this moment. After a few awkward moments, right as he's about to speak, she runs towards him.

"Master!" She sobs as she hugs onto him for her dear unlife. She wraps her arms around his waist and cries into his shirt. "Im sorry master, im so sorry. I missed you so much"

As much as he'd like to deny it, he missed her too. He wraps his arms around her and shushes her until she stop shaking. "I missed you too seras" He pulls back just enough to see her smiling up at him as another tear runs down her cheek.

"Where's integra?"

He sees her instantly frown. Her eyes start watering again, this time more than before.

"Seras?"

"She..." she hiccups as she talks "she's gone master."

"You mean, she's not home?"

"No." She starts sobbing again. "She's dead."
