Intro
A black Honda sedan sits on a residential street. The darkened tint of the windows meant to conceal its owner, if for no other reason than most people felt a little shifty around the police in this neighborhood. Blue eyes scan the horizon across the street at the latest stake out victims. All around were the typical signs of poverty. Rows of small houses long since forgotten along with the people inside of them. Most likely viewed as an eyesore or useless or both. It didn't really matter if the paint was peeling, or that the boards on the front porch were loose.
No one cared if the grass was too high, or if every car in the driveway actually ran or not. There was no home owners association. Some men stood off in the distance, looking as if waiting on someone. Their heads were down as they continued to converse amongst themselves sharing a cigarette. She was certain her presence was unknown. One of these men knew her latest suspect and she was going to find him one way or another, better for them it was the easy way this time. A simple tail should do the trick perhaps...
Homicide Detective Arizona Robbins was nothing if not efficient. Not to mention that her quick rise up the ranks since leaving the Academy was not only shocking given her age, but her diminutive size as well. It didn't hurt that her charcoal suits relayed a feminine body hardened from physical combat, and her brilliant blue eyes worked as well as any lie detector. She had to grow up early and fast, relied on no one, and disappeared into the shadows of the underbelly of civilized society.
Just as she thought she was going to have make this visit more personal, the dark blue suburban she had been waiting for appeared through the fog...bingo.
A/N ...OK second story...I know this was too short but just a quick intro to the story ...getting it out there so it'll will quit bugging me for now. Next update soon though, thanks
