"Someone has to calm him down." Suoh looked at Utako, sighing. "He's worse than Nokoru ever was..."

The beautiful woman smiled slightly. "I thought it was kind of cute..."

"This has gone of for far too long. He's supposed to be one of the saviors of the world."

"Well... At least he's not depressed about that..."

"But-"

"I think you're a bit hyper sensitive, Suoh," Nokoru said, looking up from his desk. "Why not let him celebrate the holidays?"

"Yes, but... This is just plain ridiculous!" Suoh protested.

Akira tried to creep behind his fiancée, but Utako grabbed him by the scruff of his neck. "What do you think, Akira?" she asked sweetly.

"Um... I think everyone should make their own decisions?" Akira said diplomatically.

"But this is just too much!" Suoh exploded. "I can understand wanting to enjoy what can possibly be the last few months of the world, but this is taking things to extremes! Celebrating Boys Day and Girl's Day... Fine... Easter and St. Patrick's Day was pushing it, since he's not Christian and I know he's not Irish... But this..."

"Well..." Utako said, and she smiled slightly, "I can see your point, but... He's trying to celebrate everything life has to offer... Including all the holidays, just once. He's destined to die."

"And I may just be the one to kill him!" Suoh said grimly.

The three others blinked at him. It had never occurred to them that the boisterous Dragon of Heaven's behavior was bothering the ninja that much.

"Well... Maybe I can suggest he think more about Kamui..." Nokoru suggested.

"Kamui would kill you," Suoh parried.

"Well..." Nokoru flipped his fan open, obviously trying to rack his fabulous brain for a solution they all could live with. "If Subaru was still here..."

"Subaru was here during Earth Day. He even helped plant the tree. Face it, Subaru was just as crazy as the rest of them."

The CLAMP trio and Utako were quiet, unable to dispute that. The door to Nokoru's office burst open before anyone could think of a solution. In walked Sorata, trailed by Yuzuriha and a reluctant Kamui.

"Do you know what today is?" Sorata asked enthusiastically.

"Another obscure holiday?" Suoh asked wearily.

"It's August 8!" Sorata said, undeterred. Kamui just gave them a long-suffering look as Yuzuriha bounced around the office.

"It's 8/8!" Yuzuriha said happily. "Akira, can you make us popcorn and get us some soda? We have a busy day ahead of us!"

"Sure!" Akira agreed, ignoring the glare Suoh gave him. "Um, why?" he asked, after a moment, unable to think of what holiday they were celebrating this time.

Sorata's next words had Suoh screaming in frustration. "We need snacks if we're going to spend all day in front of the TV!" Sorata announced happily. "It's Fuji Television Day!"

END

This was inspired by all the fic challenges that have been hitting lately- basically, the "too much of a good thing." Also, Akane's "Baka Song" makes mention of "Fuji TV Day." I was trying to think of the weirdest, most obscure holidays I knew of, and that one sprung to mind as one- it's Channel Eight in Tokyo... appropriate enough to celebrate on 8/8, ne? And Boys day 5/5 and Girls Day 3/3 follow the pattern. And Subaru planting a tree on Earth Day just really cracks me up...
