Jiraiya-sama Has a Conscience
Jiraiya-sama has a Conscience?
A/N: Just a short, kind-of-funny drabble I did. Slight adult themes, if you have a mind like Jiraiya. I hope Jiraiya doesn't sound to OOC. Please R&R. You flame me, I flame you. Simple as that. Enjoy…
Okay. Let's get one thing straight. Just because I write Icha Icha doesn't mean I'm a voyeur. A pervert, yes, but not a voyeur. I don't go out of my way to spy on couples, but the things you don't always expect to happen often do.
It was very early Sunday morning, about half-two. I was going home after a night at the bar with Kakashi, Genma, Gai, Iruka and Ibiki. Kakashi had left two hours previously, as soon as he saw the bill for the third round of drinks coming his way. Cheapskate.
Thinking of Kakashi's stinginess, I realised I was passing his apartment. The lights were off, unsurprising given the time, I supposed. I paused as I reached the alleyway, hearing a voice.
"Are you okay?" It was Kakashi's voice. I gasped, and intrigued, went further down the alley, masking my chakra to keep from being noticed by the insufferable Copy-nin. Who could Kakashi be down an alley with at this time of night? There were only so many kunoichi: Anko, Kurenai, Shizune…
"Sure. Live dangerously…Sensei." I just managed to stop choking. No way. He wouldn't do that, would he? I strained my eyes enough to see a flash of pink hair. Oh, Kami, he would.
Of all the women in Konoha, he had to choose Sakura, didn't he? She probably reminded him of Rin. Oh Kakashi, why her? What will Tsunade say? Images of an irate Godaime Hokage beating Kakashi to a pulp for going with her apprentice came to the forefront of my mind.
I decided to stay. Okay, if I was found, I would be the one to be beaten to a pulp, but what if Tsunade ever found out? What would she say if she found I knew something, but hadn't stopped to find out the extent? Content with my reasoning, I sat down on the alley floor.
Ten minutes later, I was ready to go out and bang their heads together. I couldn't see them, but they were both very quiet. Aw, come on, they could give me something better to listen to! Then, Kakashi spoke:
"I understand, Sakura."
"You do?" I cursed the kunoichi's innocent little voice. I could kind of understand Kakashi for choosing her above someone like Anko.
"Yeah. We can wait, don't worry."
"Kakashi? I…"
I couldn't let her go on and say something she would regret. I jumped from my hiding place.
"What the hell is going on?" I yelled at them, before opening my eyes to see…Kakashi and Sakura playing a game of thumb war.
"We're playing thumb wars." Kakashi stated the obvious.
"…" I couldn't think of anything to say. So I didn't say anything. There was something seriously flawed in their logic, but I was too drunk to figure it out. So I did the sensible thing. I went home.
SAKURA'S POV
"I think we fooled him, then." I grinned at the masked man in front of me, my hand still enclosed around his.
"I think we did, my little cherry blossom." He replied, and I saw the mischievous smirk on his face as I pulled that annoying mask down around his neck.
"I knew there was a reason I loved you." I whispered as he leant in to kiss me.
