5/10/08-This is all inspired by the Homicide episode where John encounters an old picture of himself. In all his glory. So, if you have not seen that episode, there are spoilers in here. I own Maria as I created her. Everything else, I do not own.

What is this I see?

"It there something you're not telling me, hun?" Maria stood before John, his face in the New York Times. He looked up at her, one dark eyebrow raised up. "You lost me." His eyes moved to Maria's laptop that was under her right arm.

Giving a silly, cocky smile, she placed her white laptop in front of him and opened it. Right in front of his eyes, he saw that picture that he saw back in Baltimore. His own nude self, from the 70's with a goofy smile looking back at him. He could clearly see that marijuana tattoo as plain as daylight.

"Oh, my God. Who sent you that?" He couldn't even look up at her, who was trying hard not to laugh.

"Kay sent me that. We got back in touch a few months ago and we've been talking back and forth. When I told her that we had gotten back together, she wanted me to see that. So, what is this I see?"

Letting out a sigh, he leaned back in his chair, closed the laptop and looked at her smiling face. "An old girlfriend that I had many years ago had taken that picture when I was high as a kite. Come to work one day and everyone is laughing at me. Go over to the art exhibit across the street and there is was. Me and," he motioned to his lower self, "the family jewels."

He looked to see she was so close to laughing that tears were coming out of her eyes. "You're going to laugh, aren't you?" He looked at her over his tinted glasses. She gave several quick nods, her face turning red. Looking at his other side, Ace sat there with what would have been translated in a smile or a snicker.

"Don't tell me the dog knows as well."

She put her hands on his shoulders and stood right behind him. "Would you demonstrate if I said yes?"

He could only give out a pained groan as she kissed the top of his head, picked her laptop up and headed back to her desk. He heard her laughing as she made her way to the room.

"Great. Now the dog knows." He thought out loud to himself as he tried to focus on the article again. "You sly woman, you."

He exhaled as he flipped a page. "What am I going to do with you." He said loud enough for her to hear.

"Mind if I print it out and put it on my desk at work?"

And let the others see it? Hell no! "Oh, no you don't!" He rushed to her office, following the giggles.

-End!

5/10/08-A little something to do on this slow Saturday. I was just watching this episode a few days ago and just couldn't stand not writing it. I mean, come on! It was asking for it! Big time!
