Until Death

-

-

-

Love's beauty blinds from Light,

Darkness hides imperfections,

Death is but a savior

Of life's cruelest rejections.

-

Holding hands with sharp nails

Kissing with bared teeth,

Love's farther away than the answer

And neither is what can be reached.

-

Dangerous eyes that can fake

Passion and truths in a breath,

Touching softly with hands one moment,

And strangling with them the next.

-

Ink strokes on the paper

Scratching of the pen again

Sounds like many finger nails

Scraping roughly against skin.

-

Holding onto something that

Just always slips away,

Faster than the speed of Light,

Love refuses to just stay.

-

Feels like burning poison,

As it rushes through your veins,

The agony of ecstasy,

Is worse than what remains.

-

Dancing with a lover, or

With a god of death,

Or is there any difference,

When taking the last breath?

-

There must be venom in the bites

That run along each throat,

For hearts are seizing, hands are sweating,

As lone souls feel less remote.

-

Glances from across the room,

But what do they express?

A hatred burning in each iris, or

A love stirring in distress?

-

The difficulty is very little,

When it comes to killing and kissing.

Actions as those are simple,

What is hard, is just resisting.

-

Mouths on mouths, hands on hands,

Skin on skin, and hips on hips,

Feeling every crevasse that may contain lies,

Head to head, and lips to lips.

-

Love feels like lava in the heart,

Something that is never missed,

Like fire blazing in your mind,

Love, in words, does not exist.

-

"I love you" can not convey,

The sanctity of such a feeling,

Even as heat surges through bodies,

It sends both minds reeling.

-

Closing in and all around,

Boxing into the corner, no way out,

Choices must be made now,

It is what this game's about.

-

One choice could be happiness,

Holding onto love so strong,

Or should it be the rest of the world,

Forever knowing it wasn't wrong.

-

Must be chosen now,

Must be chosen right,

Death of a love,

Or death of a fight?

-

Decision made, holding breath,

Until it falls for it all unhinge.

Caught in arms, tightly wound,

Picked this path, without a cringe.

-

Screams upon screams

Like many nights before,

Only it's not a bed this time,

Now it's only a floor.

-

And in arms love lays dead,

Wide eyes permanently sealed,

For hearts are stopping, hands are wilting,

As souls remain unrevealed.

-

He chose the course without love,

Without the dangerous, lying eyes,

To him, tasting the forbidden fruit of love,

Wasn't worth loosing his paradise.

So...um, yeah. I hope you liked it. I think it turned out okay. I wanted to mix in the sex and death, and through in a bit of love without being OOC. It sort of just implies the possibility of love, not the actual feeling, so it's not mushy, but at the same time...hopeful. Tell me what you think about it.
