He stumbled into faith and thought,

"God, this is all there is."

The pictures in his mind arose

And began to breathe

And all the gods and all the worlds

Began colliding on a backdrop of blue

Gilbert coughed as he ran his hand on the brick wall, hoping it would keep him upright while his other cupped his stomach becoming stained with the crimson blood.

Blue lips, Blue Veins

His back hit the wall and he slid down, his lips quivering from how cold he felt. His shirt was ripped and tattered, his pants in shreds. He had no jacket and his body was malnourished. He looked up at the sky, dark with the incoming storm and pollution. His sight blurred as crystal tears collected at the corners of dirty ruby eyes he blinked them away before going to stand up again.

He stumbled into faith and thought,

"God, this is all there is."

The pictures in his mind arose

And began to breathe

His grip on his stomach tightened as he stood up to lean against the wall, he felt dizzy and went to steady himself. His mind spun with thoughts and he couldn't get them to stop.

And no one saw and no one heard

They just followed the lead

The pictures in his mind awoke

And began to breed

People passing by the entrance of the ally way didn't see the man bleeding out they were too busy making their way to work but Gilbert didn't mind, he knew that this would happen eventually and he welcomed it. He had trembled in fear at the thought of dying in the beginning but now he wanted to leave this sick twisted world. He thought about his life and couldn't help but smile at some of the things.

They started off beneath the knowledge tree

And they chopped it down to make a picket fence

And marching along the railroad tracks

They smiled real wide for the camera lenses

As they made it past the enemy lines

Just to become enslaved in the assembly lines

The pale man smiled at the memory of his brother and him walking on the railroad tracks, trying to balance on them or when they played army and would make shooting sounds. He remembered when his brother left for the army, his mutter lining them up to take a picture of the two brothers together. He remembered his mother calling him crying about his brother dying in battle, he remembered his life falling apart.

The man slid down the wall, no longer able to hold himself up. He looked up at the sky as it started raining, the rain rinsing down the blood from the ground. He gave a weak smile as his last thought. Looks like both me and Ludwig would die silently and unnoticed.

Blue lips, blue veins

Blue, the color of our planet

From far, far away

Blue lips, blue veins

Blue, the color of our planet

From far, far away

The man died the saddest way possible, alone. People running by would not notice the body and the rain washed away any traces of blood. Shame.

Oh? What is this? Well, it's a oneshot that's what.
