(When people do Harry Potter fanfics they never do one really about poor
Neville Longbottom. So, I've decided to do a fanfic for him, and all those
Neville fans. I want to see how this turns out! ^^!)
My name is Neville Longbottom. I am a fifth year Gryffindor in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I don't have many friends, probably because I always am forgetful. That's stupid for not being my friend. Anyway, my life usually begins with me getting up, heading down to breakfast, and then off to classes. Right now I am Transfiguration and I'm writing all of this on a piece of paper. That's not good. I should be listening.
"Mr. Longbottom!"
Quickly, I stopped writing and glanced up at the woman who was teaching my Transfiguration class. Her name is Professor McGonagall, and she's actually the Head of Gryffindor. Anyway, there I am going on again, I obviously wasn't paying attention since I had no clue why she had called on me.
"Yes P-professor?" I asked stuttering. It was such a habit of mine.
"Do you have your homework?"
Oh no! I must have left it in potions earlier. I quickly flipped through my papers to see if maybe it was in there but no luck. All my hopes were gone.
"Professor?"
I stopped and turned my head, trying to figure out who just said that. My eyes fell upon Hermione Granger. The one girl I have a crush on since the day she helped me find my toad. I smiled at the brown-headed girl as McGonagall looked at her, brows raised.
"I have Neville's homework with me," She said pulling out a piece of paper. "He accidentally dropped it and I picked it up for him. Here you go Neville." Hermione said walking over to the table I was at and placed my homework down, the one that I had left in potions.
"Why Mr. Longbottom you should thank Miss Granger." McGonagall said giving me a stern look.
"Thank you Hermione."
Hermione beamed. "No problem Neville."
That's how my life is. See how forgetful I am? But, Hermione always seems to help me through times like these. She would make such a great wife. She would understand how I feel, and guide me through times when I need her love, passion, and everything about her! She's not fit for that Ron Weasley. He's the complete opposite of her...wait.aren't I the complete opposite too? Oh never mind. Ron isn't good for her! I'm much better! I've known her longer. I hope that counts. The day progresses and I find myself in the Gryffindor Common Room with Harry, Ron, and Hermione. The three of them sat in a corner talking in low voices while I sat in chair reading a book. Yet, see I wasn't really reading the book; I was secretly listening to them, trying to figure out what they were talking about. Suddenly Hermione turned her head and caught my eye.
"Yes?" She asked looking at me.
"Oh sorry. I was thinking!" I lied forcing a fake smile.
"Okay. Well, what were you thinking about?"
I pondered for a second. What would be a good excuse? Aha! I know! "I was thinking about the test that was coming up earlier this week. Trying to remember what we need to know."
I noticed Ron and Harry exchange glances.
"Okay Neville I'll come and help you," Hermione said standing up and grabbing her books. "We'll go to the library and study there okay?"
I nodded. I wanted to go to the library with Hermione!
"Neville?"
I snapped back to reality and looked at her. "Yes?"
"Let's go." She said heading out of the Gryffindor Common Room gesturing for me to follow.
(Okay, it wasn't that bad but I don't know. Please review and tell me if I should continue or quit. Hope you did like!)
