Percy's POV
"Are you sure were going the right way?" I asked my girl friend, Annabeth Chase. "Of course we are. I grew up here until I was seven." after that she started tearing up. "Annabeth, are you ok-" before I could finish, she started crying. "Whoa! Annabeth. calm down." I said as calmly as I could.
"I'm sorry!" she sobbed "I just regret running away." "It's okay. I love you. You know that right?" "Yeah. Hey there's grover!" she said exasperated. "Hey grover!" I said. "Percy! Annabeth! Don't go any further! Camp...DANGER! Half of... camp... dead. Few left. run!" "What?" said annabeth and I together. I ran toward camp. "Percy! Come back!" I ignored her and kept running. When I got up an arrow lodged into my right arm. I let out a cry of pain and grabbed my arm. I knew I wouldn't be able to sword fight and I couldn't arch for a million drachmas. I just collapsed onto the ground for a moment. Then I saw something on the ground next to me. an ice formed whistle. 'Didn't I already use that?' I thought. I didn't just believe logic however. I blew it loudly. It shattered into a million pieces and Chiron came pounding there and killed the rest of the monsters. I sat there peacefully knowing they were gone. But I was knocked out by the loss of blood. ... I woke up feeling numb. I was in the big house but I couldn't remember why. "Oh percy!" screamed annabeth when she saw me awake. "What happened?" "percy, you've been out for months. we thought you were dead. "What happened" I said still a bit dazed. Suddenly Chiron galloped inside and explained that we were ambushed by those Feather shooting birds. "Luckily I was nearby when I heard that whistle and rescued you" Chiron said proudly.
