A/N: This is a (very) silly one-shot inspired by a conversation I was having with excusemeb and is along similar lines to "Morbid Fascination" and "The Book Is Always Better." This is also my theory for where 'Fangtasia' came from :P Hope you enjoy!

Dedication: to excusemeb, my very dear Truebie buddy, and flossiedoss, who enjoys the silliness :)

Disclaimer: I own nothing.

Eric, Don't Be Such A Guppy

At first buying a television has been a good investment since it had allowed him and Pam to stay abreast of the latest news and events with greater ease than they had in the past.

The trouble started when Pam began to watch other programs: some of the sitcoms he could handle, but when she started to watch animated children's movies he'd banned her from the TV.

No child of his was going to watch singing and dancing cartoon animals and actually enjoy it.

However, that was when the real troubles began.

At first it had been little things: she'd hum some of the movie tunes or sketch some of the characters.

Then she had moved on to bigger things, like shopping sprees at the Disney Store and once attempting to break into Disneyland.

But when she accused him of being a 'guppy'* during an argument he realised that this obsession had morphed into a whole side of his child that he didn't know or understand.

Which was how he'd found himself lifting the 'no Disney movie' ban (since the 'no TV' ban hadn't been sustained for longer than a week) and had even found himself watching a couple of the movies with her.

In the end he hadn't known what was worse: giving in to his child and lifting the ban or finding that he actually enjoyed the movies himself.

...

*Hence the title :P For those you don't know, this is reference to The Little Mermaid
